Safety Rules

1. Know the class emergency plan.
2. Follow the teachers written and oral instructions carefully.
Ask questions if you do not understand what to do.
3. Do not taste, eat, drink, or inhale anything used in science activities
unless the teacher tells you to do so.
4. Keep your hands away from your face, eyes, and mouth during science
activities. Wash your hands after science activities.
5. Always wear goggles when chemicals, glass, or heat are being used and
when there is a risk of eye injury from flying objects.
6. Tell the teacher if you see something/someone being unsafe.
7. Notify the teacher immediately if you have an accident or an injury,
even if the injury is small.

Safety Contract

I have reviewed these safety rules with my teacher and my
parent/guardian. I agree to follow these rules and any additional
instructions, written or verbal, given by the school and/or teacher.

Reglas de seguridad

1. Aprende el plan de emergencia de la clase.
2. Sigue cuidadosamente las instrucciones escritas y orales del maestro/a .
Pregunta si no entiendes lo que debes hacer.
3. No pruebes, no comas, no tomes ni huelas nada de lo usado en las actividades
de laboratorio a menos que el maestro/a te lo indique.
4. Mantn las manos lejos de tu cara, tus ojos y tu boca durante las actividades
de laboratorio. Lvate las manos despus de toda actividad de laboratorio.
5. Siempre usa anteojos protectores cuando se utilicen elementos qumicos,
vidrio o calor y cuando haya riesgo de que sufras lesiones en los ojos porque
te salpique algn objeto.
6. Avsale a tu maestro/a si ves algo peligroso o alguien que se est
comportando en forma peligrosa.
7. Infrmale a tu maestro/a inmediatamente si tienes un accidente o una lesin,
aunque la lesin sea pequea.

Yo he estudiado estas reglas de seguridad con mi maestro/a y mis
padres/representante legal. Yo acepto seguir estas reglas y cualquier otra
instruccin, escrita o verbal, dada por la escuela y/o el maestro/a.
