PRESS RELEASE

TEAMs Role in the November Election

Vancouver, BC, 27 August 2014

Based on the current lay of the land in Vancouvers political environment TEAM has
decided at this time not to run candidates in the November City of Vancouver election.
Currently there are too many factions competing for the same votes. If these various
groups do not come together they will split the vote, not get themselves elected and
probably ensure the re-election of Vision Vancouver.

TEAM remains committed to electing Council, Park and School Board representatives
that represent all citizens of Vancouver and not special interests. The NPA and Vision
Vancouver, by their respective voting records and history, are beholden to those special
interests.

TEAM Directors encourage our members and voters to speak out, and to support and
vote for candidates that are true independent alternatives to the two developer oriented
parties. At the present time these include: the Vancouver Green Party and the
Vancouver Cedar Party. TEAM would also encourage an independent mayoral
candidate such as Bob Kasting to step forward. In this way voters can cast their ballots
for a truly independent mayor and a majority of Council, Park and School Boards
representatives.

TEAM will continue to make our position known on various issues during the
forthcoming campaign.
