Algebra 2 Project

Poster Design

Goal: Make a math poster with creative designs
Directions:
1. Select a math concept/topic that you think it is important in your daily lives. (Feel free to
look through your text books, or online resources.)
2. Make a poster for the concept. The poster must contain FOUR parts:
Definition of the math concept (verbally description).
A formula or symbolical description of the concept.
Graphical description of the concept.
Connections between the concepts and real-world situations. (At least TWO
examples)
3. Use the tools that the teacher provides, such as, color pencils, markers, rulers, compass,
etc., to make your creative design.
4. Follow the rubric when you design your poster.
5. You have two class periods to finish this project.
Important notes:
Make sure that all graphics are related to the topic and they are easier to understand
Keep the writing as big as possible so that people can read it easily
Use as few words as possible
Do not put too many words and images on your poster
