Definition of TQM (Total Quality Management)

TQM is a set of systematic activities carried out by
the entire organization to effectively and
efficiently achieve company objectives so as to
provide products and services with a level of
quality that satisfies customers, at the appropriate
time and price.

An FMEA can be defined as a systematic
group of activities intended to :-
Recognize and evaluate the potential
failure of a product/process and the effect
of that failure
Identify the action that could eliminate or
reduce the chance of the potential failure
occurring.
