BSC RadTech Program Receives Continuing National
Accreditation for Maximum Eight-Year Period
‘The Radiologic Technology program at Blucficld
State College has just received official notification that it
bas been awarded continuing national accreditation for
the maximum cight-year period from the Joint Review

URCERT).

The JRCERT is recognized by tie US,
Department of Education as the national agency for the
accreditation of educational programs for the radizraph-
er and radiation therapist and is respons ble for all
accreditation actions. The JRCERT decision was made
at the accrediting bouy’s October 2001 meeting.

Specialized accreditation awarded by the
IRCERT offers institutions significant value by providing
peer evaluation and by assuring the public of quali
professional education in the radiologic sciences.
