KINDERGARTEN
We set aside a SHORT time each day for a
snack break. Please send a SMALL and
HEALTHY snack daily. PLEASE NO JUICE!!
We have drinking fountains available for
drinks.

We have many FOOD ALLERGIES, please
remind your child that they CANNOT share
snacks. We also wipe hands and tables
everyday.
Thank you so very much!!

Take-Home Folders go home each day.
Please check the folder daily, read and respond to any school notes
and return it to your childs backpack.
Talk to your child about any school work that comes home. This is
a great way to start a conversation about the day!
If your end of day routine changes:

You MUST write me a note!
Put this in your childs Take-Home Folder and have
them give it to me.

Listening to others ideas
Waiting quietly while others talk

Exhibit eagerness and curiosity as a learner.
Exhibit persistence and creativity in seeking solutions to problems.
Show some initiative and independence in action.
Show empathy and caring for others
THE J.B. WAY
BE SAFE
BE RESPECTFUL
BE RESPONSIBLE
At J.B. Nelson we use a color coded Clip Chart to
visually remind our students about their behavior
choices. Students are clipped up when they make
good choices and clipped down for poor choices.
Students always have the opportunity to CHANGE
their behavior and earn a clip up!
