Abstract: This study aims to improve student liveliness and learning outcomes by using

Team Quiz learning model in class X SMA Karya Ibu Palembang. The research method
is class action, which conducted in three cycles, each cycles consists of two meetings.
The data was collected by using observation sheet and final cycle test. Student liveliness
average increased from 1

cycle 58,34% to 65,69% at 2

cycle and 77,84% at 3

cycle.
The percentage of student completeness increased from 24,14% before action (T

cycle, likewise
the value of student learning outcomes from 56,89 before action is taken (T

cycle. The result showed an
improvement of student liveliness and student learning outcomes chemistry by using
Team quiz learning model.
