THE GATHERING
(For 20, 30, 40 somethings)
Led by Brian and Stephanie Nixon, this is a group
that will allow young(ish) adults to gather in
community for fellowship, discussion, and Christian
growth. We will be exploring what it means to be
everyday people of faith. Room 8.

FELLOWSHIP OF CARPENTERS
David Waddell will lead this group based on what
the weekends sermons have to say to you. All men
are invited to attend. Board Room.

GODS GUYS
Bill Eaton will lead these guys in finding Biblical
Truth and how to have confident faith in a
confusing world. Come discover the truth you can
count on as we study Gods Truth Revealed.

SISTERS IN FAITH
Led by Cheryl Elder, women everywhere marvel at
the Good Girls in Scripture. Yet when we look in
our hearts, we may find the selfishness of Sapphira,
the deception of Delilah, or Jezebels take-charge
pride instead! Whats a Good Girl to do? Learn from
our biblical sisters and their disastrous mistakes, and
by Gods grace, choose a better, more redemptive
path. Bad Girls of the Bible and Really Bad Girls of
the Bible teaches women of all ages how to live (and
how not to live!) Enlightening, fun, challenging,

will lead this class to find your specific gift and how
to use it in or through First Christian Church of
Keokuk! Join us to discover What You Do Best in

WOMEN OF FAITH
Led by Debbie Summers & Miriam Freesmeier
You cant find yourself until you Let It Go. Come
join us to find what it might be for you, and how
to find inner peace. Join us as we grow and stretch
on our faith journey. Room 7.

BETH MOORE STUDY
Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of
Faith based on Isaiah 43:10. Explore what it means
not only "to believe in God" but "to believe Him."
Deepen your trust in God and receive a fresh word
from Him. Ann Gibson will lead this in-depth study.

DISCIPLE MAKING
Led by Tammy Turner -- Every believer in Jesus
deserves the opportunity for personal nurture and
development. For new believers and for those who
want to encourage new believers. We will learn
how to be an apprentice of Jesus and empower those
who want to be part of the church. Several tools will
be used to grow in relationship with God and guide
others in finding their place on the journey.

FRAZZLED FEMALES
Exploring the Character of God: In this study we
will strive to understand what God is like and how
He works in our lives. By doing this we will not
only know God more, but we will also learn about
ourselves and who we are in Christ. Room 4, led by
Connie Marlin.

EXPLORING THE CHARACTER OF GOD
What is God like? How does He work in our
lives? Learn about yourself & who you are in
Christ. Connie Marlin, Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m.


DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY
Are you ready to go deeper and wider in your
faith and knowledge of the Bible? Are you
ready to explore the Bible with the commitment
and energy you know it deserves? Are you
ready to allow the Bible to help you find your
place on the journey?

DISCIPLE Bible Study is a comprehensive 34-
week course that will require daily Bible
reading and weekly meetings. There are 17
sessions on the Old Testament and 17 sessions
on the New Testament. By the time you are
finished, you will have read, understood, and
applied around 80% of the scriptures.

This year we will be offering one session,
meeting Thursday afternoons from 12:30
2:30 (led by Jessica Zelkovich). We will meet
for the first time on September 4
th
for
orientation. There will be up to 14 slots
available and there is a $30 workbook (please
let us know privately if you need a scholarship
to help cover the cost of the book).

Because of the nature of this class, enrollment
will be closed after the slots are filled. If you
are unable to participate this year, we anticipate
that it will be offered again next fall. If you
have any questions, please talk to Jessica
Zelkovich.

DUDES IN A DINER
Wednesdays (during school year), noon at Fourth St.
Caf, Keokuk. Good food, conversation & a quick
Bible study by David Turner on the scripture for the
coming weekend. A safe place to ask questions as
we make this journey of faith together. Any men
are welcome to join us.
