SEJARAH

The ILO was created in 1919, as part of the
Treaty of Versailles that ended World War I, to
reflect the belief that universal and lasting
peace can be accomplished only if it is based
on social justice
TUJUAN DAN PRINSIP-PRINSIP ILO
perdamaian abadi hanya dapat diperoleh apabila
dilandasi oleh keadilan sosial;
buruh/pekerja bukanlah komoditas;
kemerdekaan menyatakan pendapat dan
berkumpul merupakan hal yang mendasar untuk
kemajuan yang berkelanjutan;
semua manusia, tanpa memandang ras,
kepercayaan atau jenis kelamin mempunyai
kesempatan yang sama untuk mewujudkan
kesejahteraan jasmani maupun rohani.

Sebagai lembaga yang membentuk
standar perburuhan internasional.
Sebagai lembaga yang memfasilitasi
kerjasama internasional.
