Introduction

Hook: Ranger Fred is here, he is here to pick one of your lovely posters to
take back to Carnarvon Gorge to display for everyone to see.
Talk to students about what is expected of the presentation.
Have fun presenting
Read all the information on the poster
Make sure students
know that there isnt a lot
of pressure on them
doing the presentation
but they have to try. (Do
Stand up straight
And its okay if you much up
Talk to students about the peer feedback sheet about the groups ticking
Excellent, Good or Average and making a comment about each group
Group names are already on the sheet
Make sure students are fair in their marking
No silly comments.
Students must also rate their own presentation on the sheet
this so students dont get
frightened).

Make sure the feedback
is positive and no cruel
comments. Address any
inappropriate comments
with the student

Lesson Body

Give every pair of students 10 minutes to read through their information
again before the present their poster.
Once every group is prepared get each pair to present their poster.
Students writing feedback after each group.
Marking and give positive

presentation.
Give students time in
between presentation to
give feedback.
