First, preparation

install the appropriate software support packages, these libraries are installed cadence

8: Install License
The licence folder under the license.dat fle to copy/share/license/folder, and modify
license.dat fle hostname to tqb (see hostname command hostname)

Note: localhost is your machine name, and if you are unsure what you can in the terminal
enter uname -a

3, install mmsim 13

13 mmsim installation with IC 616 many similarities.

Install mmsim 13 before installing the following libraries, the root user

Environment Variable Explanation:
1) alias lmli ... : That means the lmli later replaced a long string of the command, and then
restart the license on time as long as you enter lmli, and this approach can avoid IC 616 start-
up programs of the lmgrd mmsim the Start lmgrd confict.
2)... .5,280 @tqb , tqb for computer host name
3) the PATH variables, $MMSIM _ ROOT/Tools/bin This value must not be less. Otherwise
you cannot run spectre.
4) export the MOZILLA HOME = /usr/bin/Netscape coupled with the fact that this sentence
can be used since cadence with the help documents

5, start Cadence

$: lmli
startup license fle (lilm) is to be reported that the LD-LSB.so.3 error, this is because LD-
LSB.so.3 library is not installed.
Solution
#yum install redhat-LSB.x86_64
# ln -s /lib/LD-Linux.so.2 /lib/LD-LSB.so. .3 % for LD-LSB link
Enter lmli command to turn on license, license start as follows

Open a command terminal and enter the command opens the main interface
$: virtuoso
You may be prompted libGLU missing. So1Library, install as follows
#yum install libGLU. So1- setopt = protected the multilib=false
Open Cadence Interface as follows

(Note: IC 616 the entire Platform renamed Virtuoso, not just like before, just Layout/Schematic
Editor called Virtuoso. This is simply in order to strengthen its brand concept, so much so that
the command icfb is directly converted to virtuoso. )
