Lesson Introduction:
Students enter classroom and settle
Take class roll ask students when their name is called
to raise both needed work booklets (if students dont
have work booklets ask them to write class work into a
notebook note students names without books for next
week)
Re-introduce students to the class topic, threading a
machine, which they should have done some work at
home on (to be written on white board).
Inform students the worksheet handed out in the
previous lesson needs to be completed and returned to
the teacher

Lesson Body: Quick demonstration Inform the students we are
threading a sewing machine
Highlight each step with the students while
doing the demonstration
Focus on critical points of the demonstration
Recap that the students should have already
completed flipped classroom activities and
already know the key steps of threading a
machine
Student practical release the students and ask them to
sit by a machine
Now the students can put their previous
knowledge into action
Ask the students to begin threading the
machine
Walk around the classroom and observe each
student and check them off proficient at the
task
Worksheet ask the students to hand in the worksheets
they should have completed at home.
Machine familiarising with the remaining time left in
class ask the students to get a scrap piece of fabric and
do some practice work examples
