Activity Idea 1:
1. General Post/Question & Answer

With parental permission, students will be
added to the class Twiducate account.
(Note: students without parental permission
will be provided an alternate activity)

After watching and listening to Story of the
World Vol 2: The Middle Ages Ch. 17, Part 1
on CD/DVD, log in to Twiducate and join our
class:
In the comments section, please make a
post about what you learned about
knights today. Some ideas to help you:
What was the old way of being a knight
and how did it change? What happened
to make it change? What was the new
word for it? What were some of the
characteristics of this new way of being
a knight? How did you become a
knight? How do you think it felt to be a
knight?
Respond to one other persons post
about their ideas (look for a post that
does not have a comment yet). You are
welcome to comment on more than one
post. Leave a comment about their post
and then please leave a question for that
person to answer (the question should
be connected to what they have posted).
Answer any questions others have left
for you about your post.

Log into Twiducate and join our class. Go to
the Bookmarked section about the Middle
Ages and choose one of the bookmarked
links to explore.
Once you have explored your chosen
link, please post at least 2 examples of
something new you learned about the
Middle Ages; OR, compare information
from one bookmarked link to another,
giving at least 2 examples.
Using the information you have learned
from the link, find another website with
information about the Middle Ages that
you think will add to our learning and
post the link in the Class Bookmark
section.
