ACTIVITY & PD LOG
1
Title Type Date Relates to Goal
CTS PD Activity School PD Day Sept. 12, 2014
Using Derek Grove's idea of colour
coding the outcomes, we did at least
one module each and then looked at
both our instruction and assessments to
assure we were hitting the correct
Bloom's level
Reflection
& Application
The colour coding seemed to be the thing that finally simplified this process and gave people a place from
which to work. They're now having their wal-thrus, etc. understanding better what level they're trying to
attain.

Chromebook intro 26-Sep-14
Joined Terry Freeman in his
Chromebook introduction after school.
Learned more about Google Drive,
Sites, Sheets and other apps.
Reflection
& Application
I did not realize how user friendly Google Sites is. I would like to use this to build my next class website. For
my grade 10 CommTech class I used Weebly, but I think Google Sites will be easier to use and maintain. I also
like the idea of creating forums for the students to communicate with me.
3 Title Type Date Relates to Goal
CTF Workshop SAPDC 1-Oct-14
I will be attending a conference that
talks about the new CTF curriculum.
Reflection
& Application
I am interested in finding out more about what the future grade 5-8 students will be covering in CTF.
