1.) Article: Apple Announces iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 PlusThe Biggest Advancements in
iPhone History
2.) September of 2014, has been a huge month for apple, as they released one of the
biggest advancements in iPhone history, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The iPhone, being the
worlds most loved smartphone, they are continuing to make it much better in every
way, said Tim Cook, Apples CEO. For the first time ever, the iPhone will be available in
two new sizes. With the all new thin and seamless design, these phones deliver a bigger
display, and are packed with innovative new technologies that iPhone users have never
seen before. Millions of people, across the world have stood in lines trying to purchase
one of these devices that were sold out within the first few hours of being on the
market. It looks to me that Apple has once again, done another outstanding job with
keeping this smartphone the highest customer satisfaction in the industry.
3.) Two additional articles:
iPhone 6 release date, news and features
Apple Loop: iPhone 6 Release Dates, Apple Watch Pricing, And The iPod
Classic Retires
Search engines used:
Google
Yahoo
Results:
I would say out of the two search engines I used, Google was by far more helpful
and had its lists of articles a lot more organized than Yahoos were. As far as the
information, they were both similar and accurate to the original article I found. If
I were using one of the two articles to receive my information from I would most
likely choose the one from google simply because I liked the layout and
organization of it better, so I found it easier to read and understand. But as far as
stats and data, both articles were close.
4.) Article: iPhone 6 release date, news and features
Time- This article was written on September 16, 2014 and has been updated.
Relevance- This article relates to my topic and answers some of my questions.
Authority- The authors of this article are Gareth Beavis and John McCann. These
authors are qualified to write about this topic

2

Accurate- Yes this information is accurate and has been supported by evidence
through apple officials, for example Tim Cook. This article has been tested for
accuracy with all rights reserved and has been updated.
Purpose- This article was written to inform consumers if they purchase one of
the new Apple iPhones they will not be making a mistake. I think this article was
also written to persuade customers to buy this new product. For the most part,
the material in this article is objective and very straightforward. It compares the
phone to older models and tells customers the pros and few cons of the new
device.
5.) Articles from CCBC database:
New Methods of Mobile Computing: From Smartphones to Smart Education
Universal Design for Learning Features and Tools on iPads and Other iOS Devices
Key Words:
iPhone 6
Apple
Release
Technology
iOS
Database:
I used the Education File database so that I knew the journals would be accurate
instead of made up information than just anyone could write.

6.) Compare the Internet and Journal Articles:
I found the internet articles to be a lot faster to access than the journals because the key
words that I typed in the search engines did not have to be as specific as they were in
the database. The internet articles were not only faster and easier to access but they
seemed to have more accurate information about the topic. Also, the database articles
were proud and bias, talking about more than just the Apple iPhone, but other
smartphones as well, not having as much authority as the internet sources.

Biggest Advancements in iPhone History. Business Wire (English).
