#1: I have found an article regarding emerging technology on the technology section
of CNNs website.
#2: This article talks about Amazons new and improved technology regarding their
e-readers and tablets. The new technology consists of their Kindle Voyages and
Amazon Fire tablets. Both of these are the newest of their kind coming with more
data space and better high definition screens. The article also emphasizes the price
decrease in these items. Cheaper tablets and e-readers are on the way.
#3: The search engines I used to find new articles on Amazons new e-readers and
tablets are usatoday.com (Google Chrome/Firefox) and the newsfactor.com
(Firefox/Google Chrome). I thought that Google Chrome had a much better layout
and had more of a simplicity feel to it than did Firefox. Both search engines showed
me the same results though. Google Chrome also seemed to be much faster than
Firefox.

R = Yes the article relates to my topic being Amazons new fire tablets and e-readers
and how their new functions are better than ever.
A = Edward C. Baig wrote this article about Amazons new technology. I believe
Edward C. Baig is qualified to write about this because he is specifically the
technology columnist for USA Today. He has experience and writes about
technology on a daily basis.

A = I believe the information to be accurate and trustworthy because that is the
third article that states the same facts about the Amazon fire tablet and e-reader.
The articles claims are supported by evidence considering the facts about the
product., although I do not know if the accuracy of this information can be tested. I
believe it can but I have no proof to prove it.
P = The article was written to inform the readers about the new Amazon fire tablet
and e-reader. There was no bias in this article because Baig was stated facts more so
than opinions.
#5: The keywords I used to search for these articles were new, amazon, fire, tablet
The database I used was the CCBC library database and the choice of the database I
used was scholarly journals.
#6: After searching through two different search engines and the CCBC library
database, I have concluded that the CCBC library database was least effective and I
would choose to search through Google Chrome or Firefox any day. The CCBC
library database was very confusing to me and made it harder to search for exactly
what you want than the other search engines. When searching with Google Chrome
or Firefox you search strictly using key words and no advance searches or
breakdowns. The ease of access of Google Chrome and the timeliness of it out ways
the CCBC library database by a lot. Everything came easier with Google, much
simpler! I will give it to the CCBC library database for authority because It gave you
the option of narrowing your search to scholarly journals and other authority
writers.
