1 Introduction
The SINUMERIK 808D on PC training and programming software simulates on your
PC a SINUMERIK 808D with the SINUMERIK Operate BASIC user interface.
True to original representation and behavior
As a result of the true to life depiction of the operating panel front, machine control
panel and user interface, SINUMERIK 808D on PC facilitates real operation.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC includes a machine control panel with specific functions
of a real control panel (e.g. CYCLE START, operating mode, etc.).
SINUMERIK 808D on PC includes an operator panel, with which all of the specific
functions of a real operator panel can be used (hotkey, etc.).
The user interface corresponds to the original interface of SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC.
The simulation behaves in precisely the same way as a real control.
The full functional scope of SINUMERIK Operate BASIC on SINUMERIK 808D is
available. Exceptions are the following hardware-related functions and those that
are not permitted:

2 SINUMERIK 808D on PC
2.1 Installing/uninstalling SINUMERIK 808D on
PC
2.1.1 System requirements
Hardware
Processor: 1.5 GHz (singlecore)
RAM: 512 MB
Hard disk: 700 MB
DVD drive: For installation using DVD data storage medium
Graphic card: Minimum resolution, 640x480 pixels
USB port
Mouse, keyboard

Internet access is required to activate the software.

2.1.2 Installing SINUMERIK 808D on PC
The following languages are included with the installation of SINUMERIK 808D on
PC:
German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, simplified Chinese, Portugese-Brazilian
and Russian.
Procedure
1. Double-click setup.exe in the root directory of the DVD.
Under Windows 7, when the user account control is activated, a double-click on
setup.exe first causes a system prompt to be issued. With this prompt, you agree
that setup can make changes to your system; however, this prompt comes from
Windows and is not a component created by Siemens. Confirm this dialog and
proceed with the installation as described in the following points.
2. Select the setup language and click on the "Next >" button.
3. Read the notes and click on the "Next >" button.
4. Read the product notes and click on the "Readme" button.
5. Read the opened file, close it and click on the "Next >" button.
6. Accept the conditions of the license agreement by activating the checkbox and
clicking on the "Next >" button.
7. Click on the "Next >" button if you want to install the program in the specified
path. If you want to change the installation path, click on the "Change" button,
and in the following window select the desired folder.
8. Click on the "Install" button.
The installation starts. Once the installation has been completed, you will receive
a prompt as to whether the computer should be rebooted.
9. Click on the "Finish" button.
The computer is restarted. The installation has been completed. SINUMERIK
808D on PC is now ready for operation.

Note
User account control for Windows 7
When querying the user account control, if "unknown" is specified as the issuer and
the upper part of the dialog is not dark blue-green, but orange-yellow, then respond
with no and contact the hotline. All Siemens products released for Windows 7 have a
certificate, where Siemens AG is always specified when querying the issuer.

Click on the "Cancel" button to exit the installation.

2.1.3 Activating the SINUMERIK 808D software on PC
The software is valid for 60 days without activation.
To activate the software, you must first register (without cost) in the Internet.
Precondition
The SINUMERIK 808D on PC software is installed.
Internet access is available.
Activation check
The software activation is checked each time before the machine configuration is
started.
If you have installed the software more than 6 weeks but less than 60 days ago,
before starting a machine configuration, the activation dialog is displayed with the
time remaining until the activation expires.
If you installed the software more than 60 days ago, before starting a machine
configuration, the activation dialog is displayed and you are prompted to register
in the network and activate the software.
You can no longer start the machine configuration without activating your
software.
Procedure

1. Select the menu command Help > Activation....
The "SINUMERIK 808D on PC activation" window is opened and displays the
serial number of your software.
2. Follow the specified link to the Internet and enter the required data (serial
number) in the dialog box that opens.
You will then receive an activation code.
3. Enter the activation code in the activation dialog and click on the "Activate"
button.
The software is activated if the code you have entered is correct. The
"Activation..." menu item is no longer available.

2.1.4 Uninstalling SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Procedure
1. In the Windows menu, select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-click in the list of the control panel on "Software" (Windows XP) or
"Programs and functions" (Windows 7).
The "Change or Remove Programs" button is active.
3. In the software list, select "SINUMERIK 808D on PC 4.6" and click on the
"Remove" button.

2.2.1 This is how SINUMERIK 808D on PC functions
Precondition
SINUMERK 808D on PC is installed.
General sequence

Start SINUMERIK 808D on PC
The machine list of SINUMERIK 808D on PC opens.

Creating a machine configuration
Create a machine configuration in the machine list.
To start, select a machine of the required type using templates
(turning, milling).
Then define the designation and language of the machine
configuration.

Starting a machine
The machine simulation opens with operator panel and user
interface SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, machine control panel with
feed and spindle override and CNC keyboard.

Simulating operation
You can now operate the machine simulation just like a real
machine and generate programs, for example.

2.2.2 Machine list
Create a machine configuration in the machine list. You parameterize and manage
your machine configurations here.

You obtain the following information in the list:
Machine
Machine name, which you assigned when configuring in the "Settings" step
under "General".
Description
Brief description of the machine, which you enter during the configuration
in the "Settings" step under "General".
Technology
Indicates the type of machine, depending on the selected standard
configuration:
808D: Turning
808D: Milling
Used the last time
Specifies the time when the machine was shut down the last time.
Generated on
Specifies the time when the machine configuration was originally created.

2.2.4 Changing the 808DonPC language
You can switch the language for the 808D on PC user interface. The following
languages are available:
German
English
French
Italian
Spanish
Simplified Chinese
Portuguese-Brazilian
Russian
Procedure

Select the menu command Tools > Options > Language.

Note
Changing the language for the SINUMERIK 808D user interface
You use the machine settings to change the language of the user interface (English
or simplified Chinese) as well as any additional installed languages (German,
Portuguese-Brazilian or Russian).

2.2.5 Installing additional languages for SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC
With the installation of SINUMERIK 808D on PC, you receive the SINUMERIK
Operate BASIC user interface in the English and simplified Chinese languages.
You can install the following languages for SINUMERIK Operate BASIC
subsequently:
German
Portuguese-Brazilian
Russian
Additional language packages
Additional SINUMERIK Operate language packages can be downloaded from the
following Internet address:
Procedure
1. Select the menu command Tools > Language Update Tool.
The "Language Update Tool" window opens.
2. Click on the "..." button to open the path to archive the language
packages.
3. Select the required language file (*.slf) and click on the "Open"
button.
You return to the "Language Update Tool" window.
The archiving path has been entered. The selected language is
displayed and indicated with a flag symbol. The software version
of the SINUMERIK 808D language package is also displayed.
4. Click on the "Install" button.
A progress indicator indicates the installation process. You
receive a message after successful installation.
5. Click on the "OK" button to complete the installation.

2.2.6 Changing the screen view
Select between full screen and window view.
Window view
You have the option of moving, minimizing, maximizing and restoring the
SINUMERIK 808D on PC window.
If the screen size is not large enough to display the component, then a lower and
possibly a side scroll bar are displayed.
Full screen
Only the SINUMERIK 808D on PC is visible on the screen.
Procedure

Select the menu command View > Full screen.

2.3 Working with SINUMERIK 808D on PC
2.3.1 Starting and exiting SINUMERIK 808D on PC

SINUMERIK 808D on PC start
1. Select the menu command Programs > SINUMERIK 808D on PC
4.6 > 808D on PC.
- OR -

Double-click on the SINUMERIK 808D on PC symbol on your
desktop.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC opens and displays Terms of Use.
2. Click on the "Start" button.
The SINUMERIK 808D on PC - machine list opens.

Note
You have the option of deactivating the Terms of Use when starting SINUMERIK
808D on PC in the future. To do this, activate the checkbox "Do not display this note
again".
You can reactivate this note when starting the program in the future using the menu
command Tools > Options ... > Notes

SINUMERIK 808D on PC exit
Select the menu command File > Exit.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC closes.
Note
If you close SINUMERIK 808D on PC with the machine running, it
will be shut down and SINUMERIK 808D on PC closed.

2.3.2 Creating a machine
A Wizard simplifies generating the required machine.
You can see the status of the machine generation at a glance using the symbols in
the wizards for the machine configuration.

Machine configuration
You have the following options when creating a machine:
New machine from a template
The standard configurations supplied for lathes and milling machines form the
basis.
New machine from an existing machine configuration
The basis is a machine configuration created by you, which already exists in the
SINUMERIK 808D on PC machine list.

Creating a machine from a standard configuration

1. Click on the "New" symbol.
- OR -
Select the menu command File > New....
The "wizard for the machine configuration" dialog opens to select
a task.
The option field "Generate a new machine configuration from a
template" is activated.
2. Click on the "Next >" button.
3. In the "Wizard for machine configuration" in the "Machine
selection" field, select the required version of the machine.

5. In the "Wizard for machine configuration", select the required
settings (general, language), enter the machine name, possibly a
brief description and specify the language.
6. Click on the "Finish" button.
The newly created machine is inserted in the list of machine
configurations.

Creating a machine from an existing configuration

1. Click on the "New" symbol.
- OR -
Select the menu command File > New....
2. In the "Wizard for machine configuration", activate the option field
"Generate new machine configuration from existing machine
configuration".
4. In the "Wizard for machine configuration", in the "Machine
selection" field, select the machine that you require and change
the required settings (see "Generate machine from the standard
configuration", steps 5 and 6).

2.3.3 Starting and shutting down a machine.
Precondition
Machine configurations are available in the machine list.
Starting a machine
The SINUMERIK 808D on PC- machine list is open.
1. In the selection list, select the required machine.

2. In the toolbar, click on the "Start" symbol.
- OR -
Select the menu command Machine > Start.
The machine simulation opens with operator panel and user
interface SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, machine control panel with
feed and spindle override and CNC keyboard.
3. You operate SINUMERIK Operate BASIC using a mouse or a
standard keyboard.

4. When operating SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, click on the
<HELP> key or press the shortcut key <Alt> + <H> to obtain
context-sensitive online help for the window and the input forms of
SINUMERIK Operate BASIC.

Shutting down the machine
Select the menu command Machine > Shut down, if you wish to
exit the actual machine configuration.
You return to the SINUMERIK 808D on PC machine list.
Restarting the machine
Select the menu command Machine > Restart, if you wish to
restart the actual machine configuration - for instance, after
changing machine data.
The machine shuts down and is then immediately run up again.

2.3.4 Deleting a machine
If you do not require a machine configuration any longer, you may delete it from the
selection list of the SINUMERIK 808D on PC machines.
Procedure
1. Select the message that you wish to remove from the selection
list.

2. Click on the "Delete" symbol.
- OR -
Select the menu command File > Delete.
3. Confirm the note regarding the possible loss of data with "OK"
and click in the subsequent prompt dialog box on the "Yes" button
to delete the machine.

Note
SINUMERIK 808D on PC machine with user data
When deleting a machine, all user data (e.g. NC programs, work offsets etc.) are lost.
The data associated with a deleted machine cannot be restored.

Note
You have the option of disabling the note regarding data loss for future delete
operations. To do this, activate the checkbox "Do not display this note again".
Reactivate this note for future delete operations using the menu command Tools>
Options ... > Notes.

2.3.5 Changing machine settings
You have the option of changing the following settings for machine settings:
General
Machine name
Description
Language
SINUMERIK 808D language (English, simplified Chinese).

Note
Additional installed languages
If you have installed additional languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish,
Portuguese-Brazilian, Russian), they are available for selection.

Procedure
1. In the SINUMERIK 808D on PC machine list, select the machine
for which you wish to change the settings.

2. Click on the "Settings" symbol.
- OR -
Select the menu command Machine > Settings...
3. In the left-hand selection window, select the required setting
option, enter the new name or a new brief description and select
the desired language.
4. Click on the "OK" button to confirm your entries.

2.3.6 Storing data on a local drive
You have the option of locally saving files (e.g. part programs) on your PC.
Procedure
1. The required machine is started.

2. Press the <Alt> + keys.
The "Program Manager" operating area is opened.

3. Press the "User Files" softkey.
A directory tree is displayed. The directory displayed corresponds
to the Windows directory "My Documents".

Note
Use from USB flash drive
If you use a USB flash drive, data (screenshots, protocols) is saved on the USB flash
drive. If a USB flash drive is not inserted, this data is saved in the "User Files"
directory.

1 Einleitung
Die Trainings- und Programmier-Software SINUMERIK 808D on PC simuliert auf
Ihrem PC eine SINUMERIK 808D mit der Bedienoberflche SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC.
Originalgetreue Darstellung und Verhalten
SINUMERIK 808D on PC ermglicht durch die originalgetreue Darstellung von
Bedientafelfront, Maschinensteuertafel und Bedienoberflche eine reale Bedienung.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC beinhaltet eine Maschinensteuertafel mit spezifischen
Funktionen einer realen Steuertafel (z. B. CYCLE START, Betriebsart etc.).
SINUMERIK 808D on PC beinhaltet eine Bedientafel, mit der alle spezifischen
Funktionen einer realen Bedientafel genutzt werden (Hotkey etc.).
Die Bedienoberflche entspricht der originalen Oberflche von SINUMERIK
Operate BASIC.
Die Simulation verhlt sich identisch zu einer echten Steuerung.
Der volle Funktionsumfang von SINUMERIK Operate BASIC auf SINUMERIK
808D steht zur Verfgung. Ausnahmen sind folgende hardwarebedingte und nicht

2.1.2 SINUMERIK 808D on PC installieren
Bei der Installierung von SINUMERIK 808D on PC, erhalten Sie folgende Sprachen
mitgeliefert:
Deutsch, Englisch, Franzsisch, Italienisch, Spanisch, Chinesisch vereinfacht,
Portugiesisch-Brasilianisch und Russisch.
Vorgehensweise
1. Doppelklicken Sie im Wurzelverzeichnis der DVD auf setup.exe.
Unter Windows 7 wird bei aktivierter Benutzerkontensteuerung nach einem
Doppelklick auf setup.exe zunchst eine Systemabfrage kommen. Mit dieser
Abfrage stimmen Sie zu, dass das Setup nderungen an Ihrem System
vornehmen darf, diese Abfrage stammt jedoch aus Windows und ist kein von
Siemens erstellter Bestandteil. Besttigen Sie diesen Dialog und fahren Sie wie in
den folgenden Punkten beschrieben mit der Installation fort.
2. Whlen Sie die Setup-Sprache und klicken Sie auf "Weiter >".
3. Lesen Sie die Hinweise und klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Weiter >".
4. Lesen Sie die Produkthinweise und klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Liesmich".
5. Lesen Sie die sich ffnende Datei, schlieen Sie die Datei anschlieend und
klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Weiter >".
6. Akzeptieren Sie die Bedingungen der Lizenzvereinbarung, indem Sie das
Kontrollkstchen aktivieren und klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Weiter >".
7. Klicken Sie auf "Weiter >", wenn Sie das Programm im angegebenen Pfad
installieren wollen. Wenn Sie den Installationspfad ndern wollen, klicken Sie auf
die Schaltflche "ndern" und whlen Sie im folgenden Fenster den gewnschten
Ordner.
8. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Installieren".
Die Installation beginnt. Ist die Installation beendet, erhalten Sie evtl. eine
Abfrage, ob der Computer neu gestartet werden soll.
9. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Fertig stellen".
Der Computer wird neu gestartet. Die Installation ist abgeschlossen. SINUMERIK
808D on PC ist damit betriebsbereit.

Hinweis
Benutzerkontensteuerung bei Windows 7
Sollte bei der Abfrage der Benutzerkontensteuerung als Herausgeber "Unbekannt"
stehen und der obere Bereich des Dialoges nicht in einem dunklen Blau-Grn,
sondern einem Orange-Gelb erscheinen, verneinen Sie die Abfrage und melden sich
bitte bei der Hotline. Alle fr Windows 7 freigegebenen Produkte von Siemens sind
mit einem Zertifikat versehen, wodurch bei der Abfrage als Herausgeber stets die
Siemens AG angegeben sein wird.

Hinweis
Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Abbrechen", um die Installation wieder zu verlassen.

2.1.3 Aktivierung der Software SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Die Software ist fr 60 Tage ohne Aktivierung gltig.
Um die Software aktivieren zu knnen, mssen Sie sich einmalig kostenfrei im
Internet registrieren.
Voraussetzung
Die Software SINUMERIK 808D on PC ist installiert.
Internetzugang ist vorhanden.
Aktivierungsprfung
Vor jedem Start einer Maschinenkonfiguration findet eine Prfung der Software-
Aktivierung statt.
Haben Sie die Software-Installation vor mehr als 6 Wochen bzw. vor weniger als
60 Tagen durchgefhrt, wird vor dem Start einer Maschinenkonfiguration der
Aktivierungsdialog mit der verbleibenden Zeit bis zum Ablauf der Aktivierung
angezeigt.
Haben Sie die Software-Installation vor mehr als 60 Tage durchgefhrt, wird vor
dem Start einer Maschinenkonfiguration der Aktivierungsdialog angezeigt und die
Registrierung im Netz sowie die Aktivierung der Software gefordert.
Sie knnen die Maschinenkonfiguration ohne die Aktivierung Ihrer Software nicht
mehr starten.

Vorgehensweise

1. Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Hilfe > Aktivierung....
Das Fenster "SINUMERIK 808D on PC Aktivierung" wird geffnet und zeigt die
Seriennummer fr Ihre Software an.
2. Folgen Sie dem angegebenen Link ins Internet und geben Sie in dem sich
ffnenden Dialog die Seriennummer ein.
Sie erhalten daraufhin einen Aktivierungscode.
3. Geben Sie den Aktivierungscode im Aktivierungsdialog ein und klicken Sie auf
die Schaltflche "Aktivieren".
Wenn der eingegebene Code korrekt ist, wird die Software aktiviert. Der
Menpunkt "Aktivierung..." steht nicht mehr zu Verfgung.
2.1.4 SINUMERIK 808D on PC deinstallieren
Vorgehensweise
1. Whlen Sie im Windows-Men Start > Einstellungen > Systemsteuerung.
2. Doppelklicken Sie in der Liste der Systemsteuerung auf "Software" (Windows XP)
bzw. "Programme und Funktionen" (Windows 7).
Die Schaltflche "Programme ndern oder entfernen" ist aktiv.
3. Whlen Sie in der Software-Liste "SINUMERIK 808D on PC 4.6" und klicken Sie
auf die Schaltflche "Entfernen".

Maschinenkonfiguration anlegen
In der Maschinenliste legen Sie eine Maschinenkonfiguation an.
Dabei whlen Sie zunchst ber Vorlagen eine Maschine der
gewnschten Ausprgung (Drehen, Frsen).
Anschlieend legen Sie die Bezeichnung und die Sprache der
Maschinenkonfiguration fest.

Maschine starten
Die Maschinensimulation ffnet sich mit Bedientafel und
Bedienoberflche SINUMERIK Operate BASIC,
Maschinensteuertafel mit Vorschub- und Spindeloverride und
CNC-Tastatur.

Bedienung simulieren
Die Maschinensimulation knnen Sie jetzt wie eine echte
Maschine bedienen und z.B. Programme erstellen.

Vorgehensweise
1. Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Extras > Language Update Tool.
Das Fenster "Language Update Tool" ffnet sich.
2. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "...", um den Pfad zur Ablage der
Sprachpakete zu ffnen.
3. Whlen Sie die gewnschte Sprachdatei (*.slf) und klicken Sie auf
die Schaltflche "ffnen".
Sie kehren ins Fenster "Language Update Tool" zurck.
Der Ablagepfad ist eingetragen. Die gewhlte Sprache wird
angezeigt und ist mit einem Flaggensymbol gekennzeichnet.
Auerdem wird der Software-Stand des SINUMERIK 808D
Sprachpakets angezeigt.
4. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Installieren".
Eine Fortschrittsanzeige zeigt den Installationsvorgang an. Nach
erfolgreicher Installation erhalten Sie eine Meldung.
5. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "OK", um die Installation fertig zu
stellen.

2.2.6 Bildschirmansicht ndern
Whlen Sie zwischen Vollbild und Fensteransicht.
Fensteransicht
Sie haben die Mglichkeit, das SINUMERIK 808D on PC-Fenster zu verschieben, zu
minimieren bzw. zu maximieren und wiederherzustellen.
Ist die Bildschirmgre fr die Darstellung der Komponenten nicht gro genug,
werden eine untere und ggf. eine seitliche Bildlaufleiste (Scrollbalken) eingeblendet.

Auf dem Bildschirm ist ausschlielich SINUMERIK 808D on PC sichtbar.

Maschinenkonfiguration
Sie haben folgende Mglichkeiten, eine Maschine anzulegen:
Neue Maschine aus einer Vorlage
Grundlage sind mitgelieferte Standardkonfigurationen fr Dreh- und
Frsmaschinen.
Neue Maschine aus bereits vorhandener Maschinenkonfiguration
Grundlage ist eine von Ihnen zuvor angelegte Maschinenkonfiguration, welche in
der SINUMERIK 808D on PC-Maschinenliste bereits vorhanden ist.

Maschine aus einer Standardkonfiguration anlegen

1. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Neu".
- ODER -
Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Datei > Neu....
Der Dialog "Assistent fr die Maschinenkonfiguration" ffnet sich
zur Aufgabenauswahl.
Das Optionsfeld "Neue Maschinenkonfiguration aus einer Vorlage
erstellen" ist aktiviert.
2. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Weiter >".
3. Whlen Sie im "Assistent fr die Maschinenkonfiguration" im Feld
"Maschinenauswahl" die gewnschte Ausprgung der Maschine.

5. Whlen Sie im "Assistent fr die Maschinenkonfiguration" die
gewnschten Einstellungen (Allgemein, Sprache), geben Sie
Maschinennamen und evtl. eine Kurzbeschreibung ein und legen
Sie die Sprache fest.
6. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "Fertig stellen".
Die neu angelegte Maschine wird in die Liste der
Maschinenkonfigurationen eingefgt.

Maschine aus einer vorhandenen Konfiguration anlegen

1. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Neu".

Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Datei > Neu....
2. Aktivieren Sie im "Assistent fr die Maschinenkonfiguration" das
Optionsfeld "Neue Maschinenkonfiguration von vorhandener
Maschinenkonfiguration erstellen".
4. Whlen Sie im "Assistent fr die Maschinenkonfiguration" im Feld
"Maschinenauswahl" die von Ihnen gewnschte Maschine und
ndern Sie die gewnschten Einstellungen (siehe "Maschine aus
Standardkonfiguration anlegen" Schritte 5 und 6).

2.3.3 Maschine starten und herunterfahren
Voraussetzung
In der Maschinenliste stehen Maschinenkonfigurationen zur Verfgung.
Maschine starten
Die SINUMERIK 808D on PC- Maschinenliste ist geffnet.
1. Whlen Sie in der Auswahlliste die gewnschte Maschine.

2. Klicken Sie in der Funktionsleiste auf das Symbol "Starten".
- ODER -
Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Maschine > Starten.
Die Maschinensimulation mit Bedientafel und Bedienoberflche
SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, Maschinensteuertafel mit Vorschub-
und Spindeloverride und CNC-Tastatur ffnet sich.
3. Sie bedienen SINUMERIK Operate BASIC mit Hilfe der Maus
oder einer Standard-Tastatur.

4. Klicken Sie bei der Bedienung von SINUMERIK Operate BASIC
auf die Taste <HELP> oder drcken Sie die Tastenkombination
<Alt> + <H>, um sich die kontextsensitive Online-Hilfe fr die
Fenster und Eingabemasken von SINUMERIK Operate BASIC
anzeigen zu lassen.

Maschine herunterfahren
Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Maschine > Herunterfahren, wenn
Sie die aktuelle Maschinenkonfiguration verlassen wollen.
Sie kehren in die SINUMERIK 808D on PC-Maschinenliste
zurck.
Maschine neu starten
Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Maschine > Neu starten, wenn Sie
die aktuelle Maschinenkonfiguration zum Beispiel nach
nderungen von Maschinendaten neu starten wollen.
Die Maschine fhrt herunter und wird anschlieend sofort wieder
hochgefahren.

2.3.4 Maschine lschen
Bentigen Sie eine Maschinenkonfiguration nicht mehr, knnen Sie diese aus der
Auswahlliste der SINUMERIK 808D on PC-Maschinen lschen.
Vorgehensweise
1. Whlen Sie die Maschine, die Sie aus der Auswahlliste entfernen
wollen.

2. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Lschen".
- ODER -
Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Datei > Lschen.
3. Besttigen Sie den Hinweis auf den mglichen Verlust von Daten
mit "OK" und klicken Sie im anschlieenden Nachfragedialog auf
die Schaltflche "Ja", um die Maschine zu lschen.

Hinweis
SINUMERIK 808D on PC-Maschine mit Anwenderdaten
Beim Lschen einer Maschine gehen smtliche Anwenderdaten (z.B. NC-
Programme, Nullpunktverschiebungen etc.) verloren. Die Daten einer gelschten
Maschine sind nicht wiederherstellbar.

Hinweis
Sie haben die Mglichkeit, den Hinweis auf Datenverlust fr zuknftige
Lschvorgnge auszuschalten. Aktivieren Sie hierfr das Kontrollkstchen "Diesen
Hinweis nicht wieder anzeigen".

Portugiesisch-Brasilianisch, Russisch), stehen Ihnen diese hier zur Auswahl zur
Verfgung.

Vorgehensweise
1. Whlen Sie in der SINUMERIK 808D on PC- Maschinenliste die
Maschine, fr die Sie die Einstellungen ndern wollen.

2. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol "Einstellungen".

Whlen Sie den Menbefehl Maschine > Einstellungen...
3. Whlen Sie im linken Auswahlfenster die gewnschte
Einstellungsoption und geben Sie jeweils den neuen Namen bzw.

1 Introduction
Le logiciel de formation et de programmation SINUMERIK 808D on PC simule une
commande SINUMERIK 808D sur votre PC avec l'interface utilisateur SINUMERIK
Operate BASIC.
Reprsentation et comportement fidles l'original
SINUMERIK 808D on PC permet une commande relle grce la reprsentation
fidle l'original de la face avant du tableau de commande, du tableau de
commande machine et de l'interface utilisateur.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC comporte un tableau de commande machine avec les
fonctions caractristiques d'un tableau de commande rel (par ex. CYCLE
START, mode de fonctionnement, etc.).
SINUMERIK 808D on PC intgre un tableau de commande permettant d'utiliser
toutes les fonctions caractristiques d'un tableau de commande rel (touches de
raccourci, etc.).
L'interface utilisateur correspond l'interface d'origine de SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC.
Le comportement de la simulation est identique celui d'une commande relle.
En tant qu'utilisateur, vous bnficiez de l'ensemble des fonctionnalits de

2.1.2 Installer SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Les langues incluses lors de linstallation de SINUMERIK 808D on PC sont les
suivantes :
franais, anglais, allemand, italien, espagnol, chinois simplifi, portugais-brsilien et
russe.
Marche suivre
1. Dans le rpertoire racine du DVD, double-cliquez sur setup.exe.
Si le contrle de compte d'utilisateur (UAC) est activ sous Windows 7, une
requte systme s'affiche aprs un double-clic sur setup.exe. En confirmant cette
requte, vous autorisez le programme d'installation apporter des modifications
votre systme. Il s'agit toutefois d'une requte provenant de Windows, et non
d'un composant dvelopp par Siemens. Confirmez le contenu de la bote de
dialogue et poursuivez l'installation tel que dcrit dans les points suivants.
2. Choisissez la langue d'installation et cliquez sur "Continuer >".
3. Lisez les instructions, puis cliquez sur le bouton "Suivant >".
4. Lisez les rfrences relatives au produit, puis cliquez sur le bouton "LisezMoi".
5. Lisez le contenu du fichier qui s'ouvre, puis fermez ce dernier et cliquez sur le
bouton "Continuer >".
6. Acceptez les conditions de l'accord de licence en activant la case cocher, puis
cliquez sur le bouton "Continuer >".
7. Cliquez sur "Continuer >" si vous souhaitez installer le programme dans le
chemin propos. Pour modifier le chemin d'installation, cliquez sur le bouton
"Modifier" puis choisissez le dossier souhait dans la fentre suivante.
8. Cliquez sur le bouton "Installer".
L'installation commence. Une fois l'installation termine, une bote de dialogue
apparat et vous demande si vous souhaitez redmarrer l'ordinateur.
9. Cliquez sur le bouton "Terminer".
Lordinateur redmarre. L'installation est finalise. SINUMERIK 808D on PC est
maintenant prt au fonctionnement.

Remarque
Contrle de compte dutilisateur sous Windows 7
Si le statut "Inconnu" s'affiche devant le paramtre diteur dans la demande de
Contrle du compte dutilisateur (UAC) et que la partie suprieure de la bote de
dialogue n'apparat pas en bleu-vert fonc, mais en orange-jaune, rejetez la requte
et contactez la hotline. Les produits Siemens valids pour Windows 7 tant tous
dots d'un certificat, l'diteur spcifi lors de la demande doit toujours tre Siemens
AG.

Remarque
Quittez l'installation en cliquant sur le bouton "Annuler".

2.1.3 Activation du logiciel SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Le logiciel peut tre utilis sans activation pendant 60 jours.
Pour pouvoir activer le logiciel, vous devez vous inscrire gratuitement une seule fois
sur Internet.
Condition
Le logiciel SINUMERIK 808D on PC est install.
L'accs Internet est disponible.
Contrle dactivation
Avant chaque dmarrage d'une configuration machine, le systme vrifie l'activation
logicielle.
Si l'installation sest effectue il y a moins de 60 jours ou plus de 6 semaines, une
bote de dialogue indiquant la dure restante jusqu' lexpiration de l'activation
apparat avant le dmarrage de la configuration.
Si vous avez ralis l'installation il y a plus de 60 jours, une bote de dialogue
s'affiche avant la configuration pour vous inviter vous inscrire en ligne et activer
le logiciel.
Vous ne pouvez donc plus dmarrer la configuration de machine sans l'activation
de votre logiciel.

Marche suivre

1. Slectionnez l'option de menu Aide > Activation...
La fentre "Activation SINUMERIK 808D on PC" s'ouvre et affiche le numro de
srie de votre logiciel.
2. Cliquez sur le lien indiqu et saisissez le numro de srie dans la bote de
dialogue qui s'ouvre.
Une fois cela fait, vous recevrez un code d'activation.
3. Saisissez ce code dans la bote de dialogue d'activation et cliquez sur le bouton
"Activer".
Si le code saisi est correct, le logiciel sera activ. L'option de menu "Activation..."
n'est alors plus disponible.
2.1.4 Dsinstaller SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Marche suivre
1. Dans le menu Windows, slectionnez Dmarrer > Paramtres > Panneau de
configuration.
2. Double-cliquez sur "Ajouter ou supprimer des programmes" (Windows XP) ou
"Programmes et fonctionnalits" (Windows 7) dans la liste du panneau de
configuration.
Le bouton "Dsinstaller ou modifier un programme" est actif.
3. Dans la liste des logiciels, slectionnez "SINUMERIK 808D on PC 4.6" et cliquez
sur le bouton "Dsinstaller".

Crer une configuration de machine
Crez une configuration de machine dans la liste des machines.
Au moyen de modles, slectionnez tout d'abord une machine de
la version souhaite (tournage, fraisage).
Ensuite, dfinissez la dsignation et la langue de la configuration
de machine.

Dmarrage machine
La simulation de machine s'ouvre avec pupitre oprateur et
interface utilisateur SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, tableau de
commande machine avec correction d'avance et de broche, ainsi
que clavier CNC.

Simulation commande
Vous pouvez dsormais piloter la simulation comme une vritable
machine pour crer, par exemple, des programmes.

1. Slectionnez l'option de menu Outils > Outil de mise jour des
langues.
La fentre "Outil de mise jour des langues" s'ouvre.
2. Cliquez sur le bouton "..." pour ouvrir le chemin de l'archive des
paquets de langue.
3. Slectionnez le fichier de langue souhait (*.slf) et cliquez ensuite
sur le bouton "Ouvrir".
Vous revenez la fentre "Outil de mise jour des langues".
Le chemin d'archivage est saisi. La langue slectionne s'affiche
accompagne d'une icne de drapeau. La version logicielle du
paquet de langues SINUMERIK 808D est galement affiche.
4. Cliquez sur le bouton "Installer".
La progression de l'installation s'affiche. Une fois l'installation
termine, vous recevez un message.
5. Terminez l'installation en cliquant sur le bouton "OK".

Choisissez entre Affichage plein cran et Affichage fentres.

Remarque
Vous avez la possibilit de dsactiver ce message pour le prochain dmarrage de
SINUMERIK 808D on PC. Pour ce faire, cochez la case "Ne plus afficher ce
message".
Dans l'option de menu Outils > Options ... > Remarques, ractivez ce message pour
le prochain dmarrage.

Slectionnez la commande de menu Fichier > Quitter.

Remarque
Si vous quittez SINUMERIK 808D on PC pendant le

Cration d'une machine partir d'une configuration standard

1. Cliquez sur l'icne "Nouveau".

La bote de dialogue "Assistant de la configuration de machine"

2.3.3 Dmarrer et arrter une machine
Condition
Des configurations de machine sont disponibles dans la liste de machines.
Dmarrage machine
La liste de machines de SINUMERIK 808D on PC est ouverte.
1. Slectionnez la machine souhaite dans la liste de slection.

2. Dans la barre doutils, cliquez sur l'icne "Dmarrer".

Slectionnez l'option de menu Machine > Dmarrer.
La simulation de machine s'ouvre avec pupitre oprateur et
interface utilisateur SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, tableau de
commande machine avec correction d'avance et de broche, ainsi
que clavier CNC.
3. SINUMERIK Operate BASIC est commande au moyen de la
souris ou d'un clavier standard.

4. Lors de la commande de SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, cliquez
sur la touche <HELP> ou actionnez la combinaison de touches
<Alt> + <H> pour afficher l'aide en ligne contextuelle pour les
fentres et les masques de saisie de SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC.

Arrte la machine
Slectionnez l'option de menu Machine > Arrter pour quitter la
configuration de machine actuelle.
Vous retournez la liste de machines SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
Redmarrer la machine
Slectionnez l'option de menu Machine > Redmarrer pour
redmarrer la configuration de machine actuelle, par exemple
aprs avoir modifi des donnes machine.
La machine est arrte pour tre immdiatement redmarre par
la suite.

2.3.4 Supprimer une machine
Si vous n'avez plus besoin d'une configuration de machine, vous pouvez la
supprimer de la liste de slection des machines SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
Marche suivre
1. Slectionnez la machine que vous voulez supprimer de la liste de
slection.

2. Cliquez sur l'icne "Supprimer".
-OU-
Slectionnez l'option de menu Fichier > Supprimer.
3. Confirmez le message relatif la perte ventuelle de donnes
avec "OK" et cliquez sur "Oui" dans la bote de dialogue suivante
pour supprimer la machine.

Remarque
Machine SINUMERIK 808D on PC avec donnes utilisateur
Lors de la suppression d'une machine, toutes les donnes utilisateur (par ex.
programmes CN, dcalages de point zro, etc.) sont perdues. Les donnes d'une
machine supprime ne peuvent pas tre restaures.

Remarque
Vous avez la possibilit de dsactiver le message concernant la perte des donnes
pour les suppressions ultrieures. Pour ce faire, cochez la case "Ne plus afficher ce
message".
Dans l'option de menu Outils > Options ... > Remarques, vous pouvez ractiver le
message pour les suppressions ultrieures.

la machine dont vous souhaitez modifier les paramtres.

2. Cliquez sur l'icne "Paramtres".

3. Choisissez l'option de configuration souhaite dans la fentre de
slection gauche et saisissez le nouveau nom ou un nouveau
descriptif, puis slectionnez la langue souhaite.
4. Cliquez sur "OK" pour confirmer les valeurs saisies.

2.3.6 Sauvegarder les donnes sur le disque local
Il est possible de sauvegarder des fichiers (par ex. sous-programmes) localement sur
votre ordinateur.
Marche suivre
1. Assurez-vous que la machine souhaite est dmarre.

2. Appuyez sur les touches <Alt> + .
Le groupe fonctionnel "Gestionnaire de programmes" s'ouvre.

3. Actionnez la touche "User Files".
Une arborescence de dossiers s'affiche. Le dossier qui s'affiche
correspond au dossier Windows "Mes documents".

Remarque
Utilisation de cl USB
Si vous utilisez une cl USB, les donnes (captures d'cran, rapports) seront
enregistres sur cette cl. Si aucune cl USB n'est branche, ces donnes seront
places dans le dossier "User Files".

Il software di training e programmazione SINUMERIK 808D on PC simula sul PC un
sistema SINUMERIK 808D con la superficie operativa SINUMERIK Operate BASIC.
Rappresentazione e comportamento fedeli all'originale
Grazie a una rappresentazione fedele del lato frontale del pannello operativo, della
pulsantiera di macchina e della superficie operativa reali, SINUMERIK 808D on PC
offre all'utente la possibilit di eseguire i comandi in modo assolutamente realistico.
La pulsantiera di macchina di SINUMERIK 808D on PC offre le funzioni
specifiche di una pulsantiera reale (ad es. CYCLE START, modo operativo, ecc.).
Il pannello operativo di SINUMERIK 808D on PC consente di utilizzare tutte le
funzioni specifiche di un pannello operativo reale (hotkey ecc.).

2.1.2 Installazione di SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Per l'installazione di SINUMERIK 808D on PC, nella fornitura sono comprese le
lingue seguenti:
tedesco, inglese, francese, italiano, spagnolo, cinese semplificato, portoghese-
brasiliano e russo.
Procedura
1. Nella directory principale del DVD, fare doppio clic su setup.exe.
In Windows 7, con il controllo attivato dell'account utente, facendo doppio clic su
setup.exe si riceve anzitutto una richiesta di sistema. Rispondendo a questa
richiesta si consente al setup di apportare modifiche al sistema; questa richiesta
originata tuttavia da Windows e non un componente creato da Siemens.
Confermare questa finestra di dialogo e proseguire con l'installazione come
descritto nei punti seguenti.
2. Selezionare la lingua di setup e fare clic su "Avanti >".
3. Leggere le avvertenze e fare clic sul pulsante "Avanti >".
4. Leggere le informazioni sul prodotto e fare clic sul pulsante "Leggimi".
5. Leggere il file che si apre, quindi chiuderlo e fare clic sul pulsante "Avanti >".
6. Accettare le condizioni dell'accordo di licenza, attivando la casella di controllo, e
fare clic sul pulsante "Avanti >".
7. Fare clic su "Avanti >" per installare il programma nel percorso specificato. Se si
desidera installare il percorso di installazione, fare clic sul pulsante "Modifica" e
selezionare nella finestra seguente la cartella desiderata.
8. Fare clic sul pulsante "Installa".
L'installazione inizia. Quando l'installazione terminata, il sistema richiede
eventualmente il riavvio del computer.
9. Fare clic sul pulsante "Fine".
Il computer viene riavviato. L'installazione conclusa. SINUMERIK 808D on PC
ora pronto al funzionamento.

Nota
Controllo dell'account utente in Windows 7
Se, al momento della richiesta del controllo dell'account utente, l'autorit di
certificazione risulta "Sconosciuta" e l'aria superiore della finestra di dialogo non
visualizzata in blu-verde scuro ma in arancione-giallo, dare risposta negativa e
rivolgersi alla hotline. Tutti i prodotti di Siemens abilitati per Windows 7 sono muniti di
un certificato; alla richiesta necessario specificare sempre Siemens AG come
autorit di certificazione.

Fare clic sul pulsante "Annulla" per uscire dall'installazione.

2.1.3 Attivazione del software SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Il software valido per 60 giorni senza attivazione.
Per poter attivare il software, necessario effettuare la registrazione una sola volta
su Internet.
Requisiti
Il software SINUMERIK 808D on PC installato.
L'accesso a Internet presente.
Verifica dell'attivazione
Prima di ogni avvio di una configurazione della macchina ha luogo una verifica
dell'attivazione del software.
Se si eseguita l'installazione del software da pi di 6 settimane o da meno di 60
giorni, prima dell'avvio di una configurazione della macchina viene visualizzata la
finestra di dialogo di attivazione con il tempo che resta fino alla scadenza
dell'attivazione.
Se si eseguita l'installazione del software da pi di 60 giorni, prima dell'avvio di
una configurazione della macchina viene visualizzata la finestra di dialogo di
attivazione e viene richiesta la registrazione in rete e l'attivazione del software.
Non pi possibile avviare la configurazione della macchina senza attivare il
software.
Procedura

1. Selezionare il comando di menu ? > Attivazione....
Si apre la finestra "Attivazione SINUMERIK 808D on PC", che visualizza il
numero di serie del software.
2. Seguire il collegamento a Internet specificato e immettere il numero di serie nella
finestra di dialogo che si visualizza.
Si riceve subito dopo un codice di attivazione.

3. Immettere il codice di attivazione nella relativa finestra di dialogo e fare clic sul
pulsante "Attiva".
Se il codice immesso corretto, il software viene attivato. Il comando di menu
"Attivazione..." non pi disponibile.
2.1.4 Disinstallazione di SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Procedura
1. Nel menu di Windows selezionare Start > Impostazioni > Pannello di controllo.
2. Nella lista del Pannello di controllo fare clic su "Software" (Windows XP) o
"Programmi e funzioni" (Windows 7).
Il pulsante "Cambia/Rimuovi programmi" attivo.
3. Selezionare nella lista del software "SINUMERIK 808D on PC 4.6" e fare clic sul
pulsante "Rimuovi".

Sequenza di funzionamento generale

Avviare SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Si apre la Lista macchine di SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Creazione della configurazione della macchina
Nella lista macchine creare una configurazione di macchina.
Innanzitutto si sceglie tra i modelli una macchina del tipo
desiderato (Tornitura, Fresatura).
Quindi si definiscono il nome e la lingua della configurazione della
macchina.

Avvio della macchina
Si apre la simulazione della macchina con il pannello operativo e
la superficie operativa SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, la pulsantiera
di macchina con override dell'avanzamento e del mandrino e la
tastiera CNC.

Simulazione del funzionamento
A questo punto possibile comandare la simulazione della
macchina come una vera macchina e, ad esempio, creare
programmi.

2.2.2 Lista macchine
Nella lista macchine creare configurazioni di macchina. Qui si parametrizza e si
gestisce la configurazione della macchina con cui si lavora.

(inglese o cinese semplificato) ed eventualmente delle lingue supplementari installate
(tedesco, portoghese-brasiliano o russo).

Con l'installazione di SINUMERIK 808D on PC si ottiene la superficie operativa di

Esiste la possibilit di installare in un secondo momento le lingue seguenti per

I pacchetti linguistici supplementari per SINUMERIK Operate sono scaricabili dal
seguente indirizzo Internet:
Procedura
1. Selezionare il comando di menu Strumenti > Language Update
Tool.
Si apre la finestra "Language Update Tool".
2. Fare clic sul pulsante "...", per aprire il percorso in cui archiviare i
pacchetti linguistici.
3. Selezionare il file di lingua desiderato (*.slf), quindi fare clic sul
pulsante "Apri".
Si torna cos alla finestra "Language Update Tool".
Il percorso di archiviazione registrato. La lingua selezionata
viene visualizzata e contrassegnata da un simbolo di bandiera.
Inoltre si visualizza la versione del software del pacchetto
linguistico di SINUMERIK 808D.
4. Fare clic sul pulsante "Installa".
Un indicatore di avanzamento indica lo stato di installazione. A
installazione correttamente conclusa si riceve un messaggio.
5. Fare clic sul pulsante "OK" per completare l'installazione.

2.2.6 Modifica della vista dello schermo
Selezionare a scelta Immagine completa o Vista finestre.
Vista finestre
possibile spostare, ridurre a icona o espandere la finestra di SINUMERIK 808D on
PC e ripristinare le impostazioni originali.
Se lo schermo non sufficientemente grande per contenere i componenti
rappresentati, viene visualizzata una barra di scorrimento orizzontale ed,
eventualmente, una barra laterale (scrollbar).

l'utente.
2. Fare clic sul pulsante "Avvio".
Viene visualizzata la Lista macchine di SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Nota
possibile disabilitare la nota per l'utente per i successivi avvii di SINUMERIK 808D
on PC. Attivare a questo scopo la casella di controllo "Non visualizzare pi questo
avviso".
Tramite il comando di menu Strumenti > Opzioni ... > Note si pu riattivare questo
avviso per un avvio futuro del programma.

Chiusura di SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Selezionare il comando di menu File > Esci.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC si chiude.
Nota
Se si chiude SINUMERIK 808D on PC con la macchina in

Si basa su una configurazione macchina precedentemente creata dall'utente, gi
presente nella lista macchine di SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Creazione di una macchina da una configurazione standard

1. Fare clic sull'icona "Nuovo".
- OPPURE -
Selezionare il comando di menu File > Nuovo....
La finestra di dialogo "Assistente per la configurazione della
macchina" si apre per la selezione del job.
Il campo opzionale "Creare una nuova configurazione macchina
da un modello" attivato.
2. Fare clic sul pulsante "Avanti >".
3. Nell'"Assistente per la configurazione della macchina", nel campo
"Selezione della macchina", selezionare il tipo di macchina
desiderato.
5. Nell'"Assistente per la configurazione della macchina" selezionare
le impostazioni desiderate (generali, lingua), immettere un nome
per la macchina ed eventualmente una descrizione sintetica,
specificare la lingua.
6. Fare clic sul pulsante "Fine".
La macchina appena creata viene inserita nella lista delle
configurazioni macchina.

Creazione di una nuova macchina da una configurazione esistente

1. Fare clic sull'icona "Nuovo".
- OPPURE -
Selezionare il comando di menu File > Nuovo....
2. Nell'"Assistente per la configurazione della macchina" attivare il
campo "Creare una nuova configurazione macchina da una
configurazione macchina gi esistente".

4. Nell'"Assistente per la configurazione della macchina", nel campo
"Selezione della macchina", selezionare la macchina desiderata e
modificare le impostazioni necessarie (vedere "Creare macchina
da configurazione standard", passi da 5 e 6).
2.3.3 Avvio e spegnimento della macchina
Requisiti
La lista macchine contiene una serie di configurazioni macchina.
Avvio della macchina
Viene visualizzata la Lista macchine di SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
1. Nella lista selezionare la macchina desiderata.

2. Fare clic sull'icona "Avvia" nella barra delle funzioni.
- OPPURE -
Selezionare il comando di menu Macchina > Avviare.
Si apre la simulazione della macchina con il pannello operativo e
la superficie operativa SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, la pulsantiera
di macchina con override dell'avanzamento e del mandrino e la
tastiera CNC.
3. SINUMERIK Operate BASIC pu essere gestito con il mouse
oppure una tastiera standard.

4. Durante l'uso di SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, fare clic sul tasto
<HELP> o la combinazione di tasti <Alt> + <H> per visualizzare la
guida in linea contestuale relativa alle finestre e alle maschere di
immissione di SINUMERIK Operate BASIC.

Spegnimento della macchina
Selezionare il comando di menu Macchina > Shutdown per
chiudere la configurazione corrente della macchina.
Si ritorna alla lista macchine di SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Riavvio della macchina
Selezionare il comando di menu Macchina > Avviare di nuovo per
riavviare la configurazione corrente della macchina, ad esempio
dopo aver apportato modifiche ai dati macchina.
La macchina si spegne e viene riavviata immediatamente.
2.3.4 Cancellare macchina
Se non si ha pi necessit di una configurazione macchina, possibile cancellarla
dalla lista di selezione delle macchine SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
Procedura
1. Selezionare la macchina che si desidera rimuovere dalla lista di
selezione.

2. Fare clic sull'icona "Cancella".
- OPPURE -
Selezionare il comando di menu File > Cancella.
3. Confermare l'avvertenza sulla possibile perdita di dati con "OK" e,
nella successiva finestra di dialogo, fare clic sul pulsante "S" per
cancellare la macchina.

Nota
Macchina SINUMERIK 808D on PC con dati utente
Cancellando una macchina, si perdono tutti i dati utente (ad es. programmi NC,
spostamenti origine, ecc.). I dati di una macchina cancellata non sono ripristinabili.

Nota
possibile disabilitare l'avvertenza sulla perdita dei dati per le future cancellazioni.
Attivare a questo scopo la casella di controllo "Non visualizzare pi questo avviso".
Tramite il comando di menu Strumenti > Opzioni ... > Note possibile riattivare
questa segnalazione per le successive cancellazioni.

3. Nella finestra di selezione sinistra selezionare l'opzione di
impostazione desiderata ed immettere il nuovo nome o una nuova
descrizione sintetica e selezionare la lingua desiderata.
4. Fare clic su "OK" per confermare le impostazioni.

2.3.6 Salvataggio dei dati su unit locale
Esiste la possibilit di memorizzare i file (ad es. i programmi pezzo) localmente sul
PC.
Procedura
1. La macchina desiderata avviata.

2. Premere i tasti <Alt> + .
Viene aperto il settore operativo "Program Manager".

3. Premere il softkey "User Files".
Viene visualizzata una struttura cartella. La cartella visualizzata
corrisponde alla cartella di Windows "Documenti".

Nota
Utilizzo di FlashDrive USB
Se si utilizza un'unit FlashDrive USB, i dati (screenshot, protocolli) vengono salvati
sulla stessa. Se non collegata un'unit FlashDrive USB, questi dati vengono
memorizzati nella cartella "User Files".

1 Introduccin
El software de formacin y programacin SINUMERIK 808D on PC simula en su PC
un SINUMERIK 808D con la interfaz de usuario SINUMERIK Operate BASIC.
Representacin y comportamiento acordes con el original
SINUMERIK 808D on PC permite un manejo real gracias a la representacin acorde
con el original del panel de operador, del panel de mando de mquina y de la
interfaz de usuario.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC incluye un panel de mando de mquina con funciones
especficas de un panel de mando real (p. ej. CYCLE START, modo de
operacin, etc.).
SINUMERIK 808D on PC incluye un panel de operador con el que se pueden
utilizar todas las funciones especficas de un panel de operador real (hotkeys,
etc.).
La interfaz de usuario es igual a la interfaz original de SINUMERIK Operate
BASIC.
La simulacin se comporta exactamente igual que un control autntico.

2.1.2 Instalar SINUMERIK 808D on PC
La instalacin de SINUMERIK 808D on PC se suministra en los siguientes idiomas:
alemn, ingls, francs, italiano, espaol, chino simplificado, portugus brasileo y
ruso.
Procedimiento
1. En el directorio raz del DVD, haga doble clic en setup.exe.
En Windows 7 con control de cuentas de usuario activado, al hacer doble clic en
setup.exe aparece una consulta del sistema. En esta consulta usted acepta los
cambios efectuados en la configuracin de su sistema; pero dicha consulta
proviene de Windows y no forma parte de los componentes creados por
Siemens. Confirme este cuadro de dilogo y contine con la instalacin tal como
se describe en los puntos siguientes.
2. Seleccione el idioma de la instalacin y haga clic en "Siguiente >".
3. Lea las indicaciones y haga clic en el botn "Siguiente >".
4. Lea la informacin del producto y haga clic en el botn "Lame".
5. Lea el fichero que se abre; despus, cirrelo y haga clic en el botn "Siguiente
>".
6. Acepte las condiciones del acuerdo de licencia activando la casilla de verificacin
y haciendo clic en el botn "Siguiente >".
7. Haga clic en el botn "Siguiente >" cuando desee instalar el programa en la ruta
indicada. Si desea cambiar la ruta de instalacin, haga clic en el botn "Cambiar"
y seleccione la carpeta que desee en la siguiente ventana.
8. Haga clic en el botn "Instalar".
Se inicia la instalacin. Al finalizar la instalacin, recibir el aviso de que debe
reiniciar el equipo.
9. Haga clic en el botn "Finalizar".
Se reiniciar el equipo. La instalacin ha finalizado. SINUMERIK 808D on PC ya
est listo para funcionar.

Nota
Control de cuentas de usuario en Windows 7
Si en la consulta del control de cuentas de usuario aparece como autor
"Desconocido" y la parte superior del cuadro de dilogo no es de color azul verdoso
oscuro sino amarillo anaranjado, responda que no y pngase en contacto con la
Hotline. Todos los productos de Siemens habilitados para Windows 7 estn provistos
de un certificado, con lo cual, en la consulta siempre aparece como autor Siemens
AG.

El software es vlido para 60 das sin activacin.
Para poder activar el software, debe registrarse de forma gratuita en Internet solo

Comprobacin de la activacin
Antes de iniciar una configuracin de mquina, se lleva a cabo una comprobacin de

Si ha instalado el software hace ms de 6 semanas o menos de 60 das, antes
de iniciar una configuracin de mquina, aparecer el cuadro de dilogo de
activacin con el tiempo que falta para que finalice la activacin.
Si ha instalado el software hace ms de 60 das, antes de iniciar una
configuracin de mquina, aparece el cuadro de dilogo de activacin que
solicitar el registro en la red y la activacin del software.
Ya no es posible iniciar la configuracin de mquina sin la activacin del
software.
Procedimiento

1. Seleccione el comando de men Ayuda > Activacin....
Se abre la ventana "Activacin de SINUMERIK 808D on PC" y se muestra el
nmero de serie del software.
2. Haga clic en el enlace de Internet indicado e introduzca el nmero de serie en el
cuadro de dilogo que aparece.
Recibir un cdigo de activacin.

3. Introduzca el cdigo de activacin en el cuadro de dilogo de activacin y haga
clic en el botn "Activar".
Si el cdigo introducido es correcto, se activa el software. El comando de men
"Activacin..." ya no est disponible.
2.1.4 Desinstalar SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Procedimiento
1. Seleccione en el men de Windows Inicio > Configuracin > Panel de control.
2. En la lista del panel de control, haga doble clic en "Agregar o quitar programas"
(Windows XP) o "Programas y caractersticas" (Windows 7).
El botn "Cambiar o quitar programas" est activo.
3. En la lista de programas seleccione "SINUMERIK 808D on PC 4.6" y haga clic en
el botn "Quitar".

Crear configuracin de mquina
En la lista de mquinas es donde se crea una configuracin de
mquina.
Primero seleccione a travs de las plantillas la variante de
mquina que desee (torneado, fresado).
A continuacin, defina el nombre y el idioma de la configuracin
de mquina.

Iniciar mquina
Se abre la simulacin de mquina con el panel de operador y la
interfaz de usuario de SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, el panel de
mando de mquina con correccin del avance y del cabezal, as
como el teclado CNC.

Simular manejo
Ahora puede manejar la simulacin de mquina como una
mquina autntica y crear programas, por ejemplo.

Si instala SINUMERIK 808D on PC tendr la interfaz de usuario de SINUMERIK
Operate BASIC en ingls y chino simplificado.
Para SINUMERIK Operate BASIC se pueden instalar posteriormente los siguientes
idiomas:

Paquete de idiomas adicionales
Los paquetes de idiomas adicionales de SINUMERIK Operate se ofrecen para
descarga en la siguiente direccin de Internet:
Procedimiento
1. Seleccione el comando de men Herramientas > Language
Update Tool.
Se abrir la ventana "Language Update Tool".
2. Haga clic en el botn "..." a fin de seleccionar la ruta para guardar
los paquetes de idiomas.
3. Seleccione el archivo de idioma deseado (*.slf) y haga clic en el
botn "Abrir".
Retroceder a la ventana "Language Update Tool".
Se ha introducido la ruta de almacenamiento. El idioma deseado
se muestra y est marcado con un smbolo de bandera. Adems
se muestra la versin de software del paquete de idioma de
SINUMERIK 808D.
4. Haga clic en el botn "Instalar".
Un indicador de progreso mostrar el proceso de instalacin. Una
vez finalizada correctamente la instalacin, recibir un aviso.
5. Haga clic en el botn "Aceptar" para finalizar la instalacin.

2.2.6 Modificar vista de pantalla
Seleccione entre pantalla completa y vista en ventana.

Tiene la posibilidad de desplazar, minimizar, maximizar y restaurar la ventana
Si el tamao de pantalla no es lo suficientemente grande para representar los
componentes, se muestra una barra de desplazamiento (scrollbar) inferior y una
lateral, segn convenga.

En la pantalla se visualiza nicamente SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

2.3.1 Iniciar y cerrar SINUMERIK 808D on PC

Cmo iniciar SINUMERIK 808D on PC
1. Seleccione el comando de men Programas > SINUMERIK 808D
on PC 4.6 > 808D on PC.
o bien

Haga doble clic en el icono de SINUMERIK 808D on PC de su
escritorio.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC se abre y muestra una indicacin para
el uso.
2. Haga clic en el botn "Iniciar".
Se abre la lista de mquinas de SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Nota
Es posible desactivar esta indicacin para el uso en futuros inicios de SINUMERIK
808D on PC. Active para ello la casilla de verificacin "No volver a mostrar este
mensaje".
A travs del comando de men Herramientas > Opciones ... > Notas puede volver a
activar este mensaje para futuros inicios del programa.

Cmo cerrar SINUMERIK 808D on PC
Seleccione el comando de men Archivo > Cerrar.
SINUMERIK 808D on PC se cierra.
Nota
Si cierra SINUMERIK 808D on PC con la mquina en marcha,
esta se detiene y 808D on PC se cierra.

2.3.2 Crear mquina
Un asistente le ayuda a crear la mquina deseada.
Los smbolos del asistente para la configuracin de mquina le proporcionan una
vista general del estado de creacin de la mquina.

Configuracin de mquina
Dispone de las siguientes posibilidades para crear una mquina:
Mquina nueva a partir de una plantilla
Se basa en las configuraciones estndar suministradas para tornos y fresadoras.
Mquina nueva a partir de una configuracin de mquina ya existente
La base es una configuracin de mquina creada previamente por el usuario que
ya existe en la lista de mquinas de SINUMERIK 808D on PC.

Crear mquina a partir de una configuracin estndar

1. Haga clic en el icono "Nuevo".
o bien
Seleccione el comando de men Archivo > Nuevo....
Se abre el cuadro de dilogo "Asistente de configuracin de
mquina" para la seleccin de la tarea.
Est activado el botn de opcin "Crear nueva configuracin de
mquina a partir de una plantilla".
2. Haga clic en el botn "Siguiente >".
3. En el campo "Seleccin de mquinas" del "Asistente de
configuracin de mquina" seleccione la variante de mquina que
desee.

5. En el "Asistente de configuracin de mquina" seleccione los
ajustes que desee (general, idioma), introduzca el nombre de la
mquina y, si quiere, una breve descripcin, y defina el idioma.
6. Haga clic en el botn "Finalizar".
La mquina recin creada se aade a la lista de las
configuraciones de mquina.

Crear mquina a partir de una configuracin existente

1. Haga clic en el icono "Nuevo".
o bien
Seleccione el comando de men Archivo > Nuevo....
2. Active el botn de opcin "Crear nueva configuracin de mquina
a partir de una configuracin existente" en el "Asistente de
configuracin de mquina".
4. En el campo "Seleccin de mquinas" del "Asistente de
configuracin de mquina" seleccione la mquina y modifique los
ajustes que desee (ver los pasos 5 y 6 de "Crear mquina a partir
de una configuracin estndar").

2.3.3 Iniciar y detener la mquina
Requisitos
En la lista de mquinas debe haber configuraciones de mquina.
Iniciar mquina
La lista de mquinas de SINUMERIK 808D on PC est abierta.
1. Seleccione la mquina que desee de la lista.

2. Haga clic en el icono "Iniciar" de la barra de herramientas
o bien
Seleccione el comando de men Mquina > Iniciar.
Se abre la simulacin de mquina con el panel de operador y la
interfaz de usuario SINUMERIK Operate BASIC, el panel de
mando de mquina con correccin del avance y del cabezal, as
como el teclado CNC.
3. SINUMERIK Operate BASIC se puede manejar con el ratn o con
un teclado estndar.

4. Al manejar SINUMERIK Operate BASIC haga clic en la tecla
<HELP> o pulse la combinacin de teclas <Alt> + <H> para que
se muestre la ayuda online contextual relativa a las ventanas y
mscaras de entrada de SINUMERIK Operate BASIC.

Detener mquina
Seleccione el comando de men Mquina > Detener si desea
salir de la configuracin de mquina actual.
Se vuelve a la lista de mquinas SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
Reiniciar mquina
Seleccione el comando de men Mquina > Reiniciar si desea
reiniciar la configuracin de mquina actual, por ejemplo, tras
modificar datos de mquina.
La mquina se detiene y justo a continuacin se arranca de
nuevo.

2.3.4 Borrar mquina
Si ya no necesita una configuracin de mquina, la puede borrar de la lista de
seleccin de mquinas de SINUMERIK 808D on PC.
Procedimiento
1. Seleccione la mquina que desee eliminar de la lista de
seleccin.

2. Haga clic en el icono "Borrar".
o bien
Seleccione el comando de men Archivo > Borrar.
3. Confirme el mensaje de posible prdida de datos con "Aceptar" y
haga clic en el dilogo de consulta que sigue en el botn "S"
para borrar la mquina.

Nota
Mquina SINUMERIK 808D on PC con datos de usuario
Al borrar una mquina se pierden todos los datos de usuario (p. ej., programa CN,
decalajes de origen, etc.). Los datos de una mquina eliminada no se pueden
restablecer.

Nota
Es posible desactivar los mensajes de prdida de datos para futuros procesos de
borrado. Active para ello la casilla de verificacin "No volver a mostrar este
mensaje".
A travs del comando de men Herramientas > Opciones ... > Notas puede volver a
activar este mensaje para futuros procesos de borrado.

2.3.5 Cambiar ajustes de mquina
Tiene la posibilidad de cambiar los siguientes ajustes de una mquina:

Procedimiento
1. En la lista de mquinas SINUMERIK 808D on PC seleccione la
mquina cuyos ajustes desee modificar.

2. Haga clic en el icono "Ajustes".
o bien
Seleccione el comando de men Mquina > Ajustes....
3. En la ventana de seleccin izquierda seleccione la opcin de
ajuste que desee e introduzca el nuevo nombre o breve
descripcin y seleccione el idioma que desee.
4. Haga clic en "Aceptar" para confirmar lo que ha introducido.

2.3.6 Guardar datos en la unidad local
Puede guardar ficheros (p. ej., programas de pieza) en la unidad local de su PC.
Procedimiento
1. La mquina deseada se ha iniciado.

2. Pulse las teclas <Alt> + .
Se abre el campo de manejo "Gestor de programas".

3. Accione el pulsador de men "User Files".
Se visualiza un rbol de directorios. El directorio visualizado
corresponde al directorio de Windows "Mis Documentos".

Nota
Utilizacin de una unidad flash USB
Si utiliza una unidad flash USB, los datos (capturas de pantalla, protocolos) se
guardan en la unidad flash USB. Si no hay ninguna unidad flash USB conectada,
estos datos se guardan en el directorio "User Files".

2.1.2 SINUMERIK 808D no PC instalar
Ao instalar o SINUMERIK 808D no PC, voc receber os seguintes idiomas
includos:
Alemo, Ingls, Francs, Italiano, Espanhol, Chins Simplificado, Portugus-
brasileiro e russo.
Procedimento
1. Clique duas vezes na pasta raiz do DVD. em setup.exe
No Windows 7 com o Controle de Conta de Usurio ativado, aps clicar duas
vezes em setup.exe, um prompt do sistema ser inicialmente exibido. Com esta
consulta, voc concorda que a instalao pode fazer alteraes em seu sistema,
no entanto, esta consulta para o Windows e no uma pea criada pela
Siemens. Confirmar esta dilogo e proceder conforme descrito nos seguintes
pontos com a instalao
2. Selecione o idioma de instalao e clique em "Next>".
3. Leia as instrues e clique em "Next>".
4. Leia as instrues do produto e clique no boto "Leia me".
5. Leia o arquivo aberto, feche o arquivo posteriormente e clique no boto "Next>".

Procedimento

1. Selecione o comando de menu Ajuda> Ativao...

Se voc no precisa mais de uma configurao de mquina, voc pode exclu-los da

Procedimento
1. Selecione a mquina que voc deseja remover da lista.

2. Clique no cone "Excluir".

Selecione o arquivo de comandodo menu> Excluir.
3. Confirme as informaes sobre a possvel perda de dados com
"OK" e depois clique na seguinte caixa de dilogo de busca
atravs do boto "sim" para excluir da mquina.

Quando se exclui uma mquina, todos os dados do usurio sero perdidos (por
exemplo, programas NC, deslocamentos, etc). Os dados de uma mquina excluda
no podem ser restaurados.

futuras. Ative a caixa de seleo "No exibir esta mensagem novamente".
Usando o comando menu Extras > Opes... > Notas ative este aviso para para
