Reflection
What strategy did you learn about today?
I realised that the children love to learn outdoors. Going
outside seemed to make the children more enthusiastic about
participating in the maths lesson.
I achieved the goal today because the children completed the
set activity. Many children approached me about writing their
own directions to follow. The enthusiasm for extending the
activity further confirmed that goals were achieved.
Anything you found difficult and how did you solve it?
When taking the children outside I must be aware of setting
clear boundaries for the children. I must be clear with the
physical space that the children occupy outside. I found that
when taking the children outside they just ran in all directions,
quite a distance away myself. This made it more difficult to
supervise them.
