In General, Norway and the United States are almost the same when it
comes to gender equality. I feel that there is more gender equality in the United
States, but not by much. The Quota Law enacted by Norway is a good example of
how they are striving for gender equality. I think that many other countries should
try to do this as well. As for pay, women will always make less than men, I think.
Women in the US make 23% less on average than men. As for women leaders,
Norway takes the lead. Their prime minister, Erna Solberg, is one of the very few
women leaders. The United States still has yet to see a woman president, and
although Hilary Clinton didnt win, I think it shows a lot about gender equality in
the U.S. In general, Norway has more woman leaders than the U.S but the U.S has
more women in the workplace.
