Chungnam Province has announced that they will provide low-income and single-
parent families assistance towards self-reliance and self-support with an
entrepreneurship fund of '36 billion won'.

This project is to support single-parent households whose real income is below 150%
of the minimum cost of living, and who have solid working skills and are willing to
support themselves

loan of 12 million won, or a mortgage loan of less than 50 million won.

According to a spokesman for the province, it is expected that "this project will give
hope to single-parent households living in difficulties" and "support everyone able to
take advantage of the assistance offered by such a welfare fund."
