'The 26 Most Promising Small-Medium Enterprises' in ChungNam were Chosen

, Chungnam Province announced that they have chosen the 26 small-
medium enterprises to be part of the 26 Most Promising Small-Medium
Enterprises. They were chosen because they have shown great growth potential.

According to the province, the 26 small-medium enterprises (SMEs) were
chosen among the 32 which applied based on the following criteria: financial
soundness, technology and management quality, contribution to technical
innovation and regional economy, and job creation and exports.

Chungnam Province is planning to provide these 26 SMEs with additional 1%
preferential interest rate (a total of 3%) if they apply for financial assistance
within the next 6 years.

This policy will enable these promising enterprises not only to promote their
corporate image but also to strengthen their credit guarantee in institutions that
support SMEs.

The Chungam Provinces Chief of Corporate Welfare said that, We will
continue to support these promising SMEs so that they will continue growing
and we will help them build their confidence. He also added, From now on,
we will exert real effort in supporting these SMEs by promoting their corporate
image with the help of the SMEs supporting institutions.
