Versa Trak Software

(1) General Introduction:

The Versa Trak Test Software helps you to locate the small group radio on the map. Install the Versa
Trak software & Run the software.

(2)GPS Application Diagram:

The GPS application diagram fig-1, the system is composed of three parts, the Radios with GPS,
called Mobile, and Radio B connected to the Personal Computer (PC) with programming cable VL-
007, called Control Center. Before your programming, make sure which one is the Base Station and
which one is the Mobile.
The terminal software Versa Trak test is installed in the PC, when the GPS radio is positioned, users
can read the position message of GPS radio(s) via the VL-007 programming cable.

Note: Use the GPS data cable to connect the Base radio with Computer. So that you can use the
radio for Data & Voice

Versa Trak Test Setting

(1) Install Versa Trak Test software.

(2) Set the correct COM port; go in Setting; refer to figure-2
(3) We can also save the Text file & KML file of the radio IDs.

Software Operation:

Here we have two ways to check the position of radios

(A) Short Format:
(1) To check the position of radio, set the GPS radio ID Short ID; refer to fig-3.
(2) Press WRITE to know the GPS radio position information,
(3) The Read window will appear with radio ID & Its Longitude, Latitude, Altitude.
(4) For continuous checking of radio, we can select the “Auto Send interval” option in setting & then
select the “Auto Send”.

(B) Normal Format:

(1) To check the position of radio, set correct Radio ID; refer to fig-4.
(2) Press WRITE to know the GPS radio position information,
(3) The Read window will appear with radio ID & No of satellites, Altitude, Time , Date, Longitude,
Latitude, Speed.
(4) For continuous checking of radio, we can select the “Auto Send interval” option in setting & then
select the “Auto Send”
