Lesson Overview
This lesson focus is on students developing their own E-portfolio websites.

Start by explaining lesson expectations and where you would like them to have completed by
lesson end.
Handout assessment rubric for web design and discuss
Discuss the basic structure and items needed within website
Model and display examples i.e. Jonhsmith student exemplar
Look for more examples online if needed
Students recording site username names and passwords
Students to start building own site
Start uploading and scanning documents


Lesson Outcomes
Students will have an understanding of how to build a website

Notes

Pedagogical approached used will be a gradual release of responsibility approach with the
teacher scaffolding class and individual students where needed while gradually releasing the
responsibility of learning over to the student when competency is achieved.
The classroom will be an inclusive environment with all students to feel safe and valued in
participating in all classroom activities.
