students know more a$out the players they see every day on T3. This will $rin# the interest of the students up and make
them want to play like their heroes. This also helps students have more knowled#e of the #ame of $asket$all.

(n 1./ allowin# the students to do it themselves is a lot of what the class represents. The student will have cones set for
defensive drills and the students will have to explore how to defense someone properly with the instruction of me on what

is the $est way to do that. *ports lets students fi#ure out how to perfect somethin# $y tryin# it do it many times to #et it
ri#ht. Allowin# the students to practice these circuits that involve $asket$all will only help develop their motor skills.

*tudents will try to attempt to perform the $asket$all drill like ( explained $ut it is my duty to make sure to $e clear that the
$asket$all circuit ( present is $ein# explained well so that the students can 'ump ri#ht in and perform the $asket$all drill
with the tools ( presented to them while they perform the circuit. (f a student doesn.t understand the drills as others do
then ( can modify the drill to $enefit their needs. *hortenin# a drill if they have trou$le keepin# up is a way to differentiate
from ori#inal lesson. Makin# sure everyone is involved is important to the success of all the students.

lesson presented today. (f a kid can.t perform the defensive $asket$all task then a coach can modify it so the student can
have success. (f a student is advanced in the $asket$all area #iven then the student can perform more difficult drills
durin# the circuit so he can continue to improve with the defensive lesson #iven today.

Toward the end of every day the students will $e evaluated with a drill to see if they understood that days $asket$all
lessons. 5uestionnaires at the end of each day will also help determine if the students understood the material that was
presented that day. "asket$all circuits are -uick movin# so pickin# up the material mi#ht take a day or two. 1atience is a
must for middle schools durin# their difficult transition.
