O-Week Stakeholders

Part time Student, Full time Employee (persona)


Meredith Howard (age 23) works fulltime in the Information Technology department of her local bank,
however due to her lack of qualifications Meredith has been at a low level Helpdesk job for the past 4 years
as those with higher tertiary qualifications are selected for the promoting positions. Because of this
Meredith has decided to enroll part time in a university course to enhance her qualifications with hopes of
rising further in her organistion. Never having been to university before or had any previous tertiary
education experience Meredith is interested to find out what options there are at her new university for
people, such as her, working full time and attending university after work hours.

For the purpose of this interview the interviewee chose to remain anonymous, for persona reason he will
be referred to as Josh. Josh is a 26 year old male currently working as an electrician installing cabels for the
cities NBN network, he is in his second year of an engineering degree, majoring in electrical engineering.

Yes
2. Have you ever attended OWeek?
Yes, only in my first semester of my first year
2.1. What did you enjoy most?
There wasnt really much that I enjoyed it was all a bit confronting for me.
2.2. What did you dislike?
The confrontation involved, they didnt really easy you into it, and the certainly didnt make
it easy to figure out what you should be doing.
3. What would make OWeek more appealing for you?
To give us suggested ideas on what we should attend and combining you with people in similar
situations


Stakeholder- Industry Professional
Kate Hill (28) works as a bank assistant in a local Commonwealth Bank branch. For every new customer Kate
brings into the branch she earns herself a hefty commission. Kate wants to a way to bring in multiple new
customers at one time and has heard of QUTs upcoming orientation week. Kate is interested in taking a
stall to the universities orientation week to find new customers recently out of school and perhaps starting
new part time jobs in need of banking assistance.

Ellen is a 34 year old Body Shop Consultant who sells her products and advertises for parties so that she
can earn a profit.

product/s and why they should invest in me as a business
