Tableau, Improvisation, Mime, Storytelling,
Monologues, 2 Person Scenes, Character
Creation, Found Space Theatre, Technical
Theatre, & Greek theatre.
Theatre Anywhere:
In Groups of 2-4 students will find a space other
than the drama room and create a 5-7 min site
specific, improvised scene.
Drama 20/20(IB) Term 1 Stage Combat, Theatrical
Design(sound/Light/costume), Playwriting,
Dinner theatre, Puppetry, Auditioning, Oral
Interpretation, Theatre Critique, Laban
Secrets: Each student will develop a character
based on a stranger from real life. However, that
real person has secret.
Murder mystery:
Students will create a Dinner Theatre style murder
mystery using their secrets character.
Drama 30/30 (IB) Term 2 Clown, Directing, Mask, Commedia
dell'arte, Dramaturgy
Stage Management, Voice over,
And Restoration Theatre
Solo Showcase:
Students will be provided with 20-25 minutes of
stage time to create a performance of their
choosing. The objective of the assignment is to
have students demonstrate what they have gained
through Drama studies.
Students may work together in any combination of
pairs. Each student must contribute a min of 20
mins of performance. Each student must also
complete a min 5 page written justification.
Advanced Acting
15,25,35
TBD Auditioning, Memorization, Rehearsal,
Character Development, Performance
Students are enrolled in Advanced Acting after
being selected as a cast member for a One Act or A
Main Stage production. Any public performances
will be considered the finale project.
Technical Theatre
15,25,35
TBD Students will be selected to fill Tech Theatre role
for either a One Act or Main Stage Productions.
They will receive individual instruction &
evaluation biased on their role in the production.
Directing 25 TBD Introduction to Directing, & The role of an
assistant director.

*Drama 20 is required & Technical Theatre
15 is recommended.
Assistant Director of a One Act play:
Students will fill the role of an Assistant director to
one of the Directing 35 students. And will receive a
mark based on reflections as well as observations
by the plays director and scheduled observations
by the course instructor.
Directing 35 Term 2 Applications for Directing on the stage,
Production Management, & Leadership
Training.

Drama 30, Directing 25 &
Technical Theatre 15 are required.
Technical Theatre 25/35 is
recommended.
Teacher recommendation is
required.
Direct a One Act Production:
Students will be required to choose and direct a
One Act play. They will be responsible for the
overall leadership of the production from concept
to stage. Students will showcase their One Act in a
week-long Festival.
