In continuation to this office instruction No. 10/2006/PD&C issued vide this office memo No. Ch-14/DD-169 dated 21.7.2006, it is further added that HVD system may not be laid in small villages/hamlets, where number of existing connections are less than 100 Nos. In such villages/hamlets, LT system may be replaced with ABC cable and the meters should be installed outside the houses in steel MCB. Proper connections from LT ABC cables be taken out with connectors.
