I am pleased to recommend Matthew Logan for any position he may apply for. As
a student teacher at Billanook College he involved himself in every aspect of
College life whilst demonstrating the skills to be a passionate educator.

Matthew is able to create, deliver and reflect upon each of the lesson plans he
created. In the classroom he demonstrated a very high capacity to communicate,
vary language, content and structure to meet the learning needs of the students in
his class. His lessons were engaging and held the attention and interest of
students. Matthew considered the learning needs of each student and developed
curriculum that supported and enriched their educational experience.

While at Billanook he collaborated with other staff in the delivery of curriculum
and willingly participated in a range of College events including sport programs,
assisting with House Music, theatre productions, attended assembly, faculty and
pastoral meetings, yard and bus duties.

Matthews obvious great strength is his ability to form positive relationships with
students in his class and utilise a range of pedagogical methodologies. He did this
naturally and quickly which created a comfortable learning environment within
the classroom and supported the key skills and knowledge he was helping the
students develop.
