THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON TEACHERS
Technology in education I believe will
create the paradigm shift that the education
so long desire. According to Gardners
multiple intelligence theory, students have
different kinds of intelligences such as
logical, musical, bodily kinesthetic,
interpersonal, intrapersonal and linguistic
intelligence just to name a few.
Technology also enables teachers to
define their teaching methods to fit the
different learning styles of each student.
With the invention of technology it enables
teacher to be able to plan their lessons.
Technology has put in place computer that
are used to type work and lesson plans that
will be use by teachers to teach a specific
topic or lesson. This make life more easier
for them in terms of it is less stress to type a
piece of work than to sit down and type it.
As technology improves the level of
education also improves. Technology
facilitate various kind of benefits to
individuals. Teacher are able to use the
internet to search for things that they are not
clear on when planning their lessons. This
allows them to deliver more clearly and
understandable to student.
Teachers can also used the computer to create document and activities for student. Computers as
one of the most popular used technology equipment today serve various purpose and can perform
various task. Teachers will used the computer to put in tables to allow the to be able to list a
group of activities that must be done for a particular lesson.
Technology also serve as a means that it help in the delivery of lesson as there are website
that allows student to access information that teachers put on these website. Technology as
develop as the time passes in such a way that teachers once have to actually demonstrate

everything to students when teaching them an skill or a specific topic that has some performing
of various skills. With technology it as now allows teacher to be able to deliver their self better
than before to allow each and every students to understand and grasp a concept of what is been
taught projectors, speaker, and monitors are now put in place that teachers can actually allows
student to watch videos of what is being taught to them. This gives the student a better grasp at
the concept than to actually explain everything to them, or to sit and dictate to them.
Technology also help teacher to access student in various ways that a lot of the times base on
the fact that technology has create the path way for the invention of computers, teachers use the
computer to carry out mathematical function as the computer is also made to carry out this
function. Computers can be use to access student in a way that base on a teachers past mark the
grade that each student receive for a particular course can be imputed on the computer and the
computer will access the grades and tell who receive a passing grade from who receive a failing
grade. Computer which is one of the most popular technologies equipment help teachers to
calculate and access their class average majority of the times.
