Students watch another segment of the
clip about hope:

Students are required to spot 2-3
persuasive techniques mentioned in the
video clip. Students with higher level
ability are encouraged to analyse the
video and note down 5 persuasive
expressions or techniques mentioned
therein.












Students are given a table of
persuasive techniques to choose from
and practise writing a paragraph based
on their selected techniques. Students
work on task individually then share
their paragraphs with their table groups
While doing so, higher level students
are urged to use at least 3 persuasive
techniques.


Differentiation is applied for better class
management and setting challenging goals.
