Teaching Experiences

Student Teaching: I completed my student teaching semester at Washington High School in the
Sioux Falls School District. The courses I taught were ELL Pre-Algebra and Geometry. This
experience required me to develop and implement lesson plans that incorporated technology,
differentiated instruction and engaging components.

Level III Experience: I completed a two week in classroom experience at Madison High
School. The experience involved observing, creating, and implementing lesson plans in
Geometry and Algebra II.

Work Experience

Math Success Center Tutor- My duties included aiding students in remedial 2013-2014
and college level math classes in a one-to-one setting and administer tests. I
helped the students further develop math skills in basic, intermediate and
college algebra classes.

Private Tutor- I tutored high school students in subjects such as algebra, 2012- Current
trigonometry and calculus in a one-to-one setting. My duties were to aid
them in mastering math concepts.


Summer Recreational Activities Coordinator- This job position May 2013- August 2013
required me to plan recreational and educational activities for children
ranging in ages three to ten. These activities included arts and crafts,
sports, science experiments, and nature exploration. This position
also required me to be head of staff members and to plan activities on a
budget.

After School Care Assistant- Job duties included creating a safe learning 2009-2013
environment for children ages five to ten in an after school setting. Each day
my responsibility was to organize crafts or games that required students to
explore and learn. Other duties included keeping my work area clean on a daily
basis and completing proper training each year.

Skills
