BIOMES Earth is composed of a variety of
different ecosystems. A biome is a large
naturally occurring community of flora and
fauna occupying a major habitat, and Earth has
seven: Water, Rainforest, Desert, Tundra, Taiga,
Deciduous Forest, and Grassland. For this
project, we will be traveling the planet and
identifying major aspects of the biomes. You will
choose one biome and answer the following
questions. At the end of the class period, each
group will present their findings. Because more
than one group will be studying a specific
biome, four questions will be asked.
