Karl Marxs Beliefs

Subversion- To transform the established social order and its structures of power, authority
and hierarchy.
Dialectic- To discuss the truth of opinions.
Bourgeoisie- The capitalists who owned all the wealth and means of production in society.
Proletariat- The working class.
International Working Mens Association an organization dedicated to spreading the
revolutionary message of communism to the workers of the world.
1. According to Marx, what was the essential force that drives history?
The essential force that drives history is work and production and money.
2. Who were the exploited group in society according to Marx and why were they
exploited?
The exploiting group in society was the Bourgeoisie and they were exploited due to private
property.
3. What did he believe would resolve this issue of exploitation?
Once everything was exploited, and everyone owned all things in common, class distinctions
would be erased.
4. Marx died well before the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. Would he have believed
that the Bolsheviks were proof of his belief that the workers would unite? Why or
why not.
I believe that Marx would have believed that the Bolsheviks were proof because they did come
together and they did overthrow the government. I think that the Bolsheviks proved Marxs
beliefs completely, they united and formed a rebellion to take down the government and make
things right.
