Mobile solar powered air compressor

Solar air compressor is a special type of compressor which utilizes solar energy instead of conventional
electrical energy to power the compressor module that has been used to fill air for various applications.
The development history of solar-based air compressor technologies, its principles, and the discussion of
the existing drawbacks of current systems can be found. Moreover, an analysis of the environmental
problems related to the use of conventional technologies. Practically, the compressor devices have been
used in widespread fields with the development of new thermodynamic materials with higher
coefficient. The experimental investigation and analysis on an air compressor driven by solar cells have
been investigated in the open literature. Many recent efforts in the literature have studied the
performance of solar air compressor and tried to improve its efficiency. In this present paper, a design
for portable solar air compressor was presented and tested experimentally. The main objective of this
service is to be suitable for use by the Bedouin people who live in the remote areas where electricity is
not available. The compressor can also be used for remote parts of the world or outer conditions where
electric power supply is not readily available.
