Digital Citizenship is a concept

that helps both parents and
teachers show their children
the correct way to use technology. With the explosion of technology there needs to be put in
place some etiquette when it
comes to using our electronic
devices. Too many times people miss use the internet for
the wrong reasons and some
of them do not know any better. In my class Digital Citizenship will be taught and I will be
sending each parent or guardian a Digital Citizenship pledge
that will outline what is to be
expected tech behavior. The
students will also get the
pledge and will be tested on it.
There are several things that
we can do to practice Digital
Citizenship. One of the ways is

Cyber bulling is a new twist to

a age old problem. This new
style of intimidation is happening on electronic devices.
Some of the things that cyber
bullies do are mean e-mails
or text, post embarrassing
pictures or mean messages
on web sites and using someone elses user name to
spread rumors. This type of
behavior can have serious
consequences . The suicide
rate in America has risen in

the main reasons for it is

This concept is a great way to

Padlet is a virtual wall that
will allow teachers and students to post their thoughts
on a common topic very easily. It works as a online sheet
of paper that people can put

page from anyone from any
device. Some of its key features include being able to

make sure that they are not
being bullied. The parents
must also check and see if
their child is not doing the
bulling. The art of intimidation
has been around since time
began. This latest style of
bulling a lot of times has no
face but the damage is still
being done. This type of intimidation must be stopped in
order of the children can have

can use the software to articulate your point without staring at the board or talking too
long. Whenever you give a
presentation, part of your job
is to peak the interest of your
audience and the Prezi does a
good job of it. Prezi is a great
tool but it also has its drawbacks. Some user say that
Prezis zooming user inter-

face (ZUI) causes nausea,

others complain about the
lack of color and font options.
Prezi also had been criticized
for not being user friendly to
users with disabilities because a lot of the presentation can not be read aloud.
Giving a presentation can be
a bore and a chore at the
same time. Prezi is a way to
make this chore easier.
