FORMER UN STAFF NEEDS ASSISTANCE


A former UN Staff Mr. Mohammed Husson Ali, 58, needs urgent assistance for his life,
while he is suffering of long term sicknesses including cardiology in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.

Mr. Mohammed Husson Ali was a field supervisor of the World Food Programme in
Burma, left country to escape brutal persecution of Burmese military regime in 2008.

Upon his arrival, he approached to the office of the United Nations High Commissioner
for Refugees (UNHCR) in Kuala Lumpur, seeking assistance to determine his refugee
status.

Although, he was recognized as refugee, no assistance including food, shelter, medication


and other facilities were met for his protection or life.

Currently, he has gone under critical health situation at Cardiology Department (CCU) of
Hospital Ampang, while he does not have any caretaker to look after him.

The person is really vulnerable and urgently needed assistance for his life. His UNHCR
Ref. is identified as 354-08C06271, DOB: 02/06/1951.

Mention may be made here that he was contributing his brain and energy in educating
people in Burma before joining with UN body.

The Arakan Rohingya Refugee Committee (ARRC), Malaysia believes that his safe life
with good health is very much important for the services of humanity, while he has
already contributed enough for the betterment of human society.

It is therefore, appeal to every human society and concerned quarter to take urgent
measure to assist this vulnerable figure, whilst he really deserved.
