Remove the Front Covar from the Cabinet, 4. Remova tho Bracket from the Front Cover. 5. Cutout the pop-out Cover from the Front Cover, 6. Remove tho Handlo Cover from tha Front Cover and attach the Handle contained in tho kit, Insert the Duploxing Unit into the Cabinat ‘Attach the Front Covar to the Duplexing Unit, -©9654-0612-14 (2) -@9654-0408-14 (2) |. Attach the Vertical Transport Unit 10 the Cabinet and plug the Harness. Connector of ho Venical Transpon Unit into the Cabinet, NOTE Check that the hook of the Vertical Transpon Unit catches the frame of the copior. 9. Rolit all Covars removed in step 1. 19. Alf the Label onto the Handia of tho Duplexing Unit. 20. Open the Vertical Transport Door of the copier and tho Vartcal Transport Deor of the cabinat Then, apply Greases tothe coupling gearas shown,AD-3 21. Apply a Groase to the Duplexing Unit as shown, Chacking the Side-to-Side Imago Registration (Duplex Unit) 1. Prepare a tost chart (A3 size) Ike the ona ‘shown in the istration Draw a lino 20mm trom the leading edge of the papor. 2, Place this test chart aligned with the ‘mark on the Original Width Seale and close the Original Cover, 3, Select t-sided original to 2-sidod copy mode and make a copy in full siza modo, 4, Measure distance *A* on the copy, Toloranca20Eamm * It distance “A” is out of tho toloranco, agjust the positon of the Duplox Unit as follows, 5. Pull the Dupiox Unit out and open the Uppor Guido Plato Assy. Move the Side Guide Plate (reat) toward the front and loosen two screws securing the Sida Gide Plate Assy.. If distance *A*is more than 23mm, shitt the Side Guide Plato Assy. toward the front, distance “A*is loss than 17mm, shit it toward the roar, 1.
