ittooktwoyearstocometoanagreementasthewar
draggedon.Ithinkthisstrategywasnegotiation.
Negotiationisaprocesswhentheymeettogetherandtalk
aboutaconflicttheyhave.Thegoalofnegotiationisto
createasolutionthattheconflictingpartiesagreeto
something.InthewartheyhadPOWs.POWsmeans
PrisonersofWar.Someofthemdiedduringthewar
becauseofstarvationandpain.Attheendofthewarthey
exchangedtheprisoners.Ithinktheyusedthestrategy
Compromise.Compromiseiswhenbothpartiesagreeto
resolvetheconflict.

SouthandDMZistheplacewhereitdividestheplace.
Also2.5millionpeoplelosttheirlives.Alsofromthewar
civilianswhicharepeoplethatareinnocentandnotinthe
army,thosepeoplelosttheirfamiliesandthehouseswere
allgone.ForthepeoplewholosttheirfamilyinNorth
KoreathereisaplacecalledImjingak.Thisistheplacefor
thememoryofthepeoplethatlosttheirfamilies.WhenI
visitedImjingakIwishedfortheinnocentpeopletofind
theirhome.

amfightingforthecountry.WhenIwentintowarthe
screamofpainandthebloodandgunshotsallsortof
thingswerescaringme.AlsoIhateditwhenIsawmy
friendgetshotbyaNorthKoreanSoldier.Ireallywanted
togobacktomytimewhenIwasakid.Iwasabletogo
throughhorribleconditionsandhardtimesbutatlastwe
madeittostopthem.
