Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara Falls Letter of Recommendation for Ms. Louise Campbelt Famnary 9, 2014 ‘To whom this may concern, The following is a letter of recommendation for Ms. Louise Campbell. Louise was a volunteer with our agency, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara Falls, from May 2010 until June 2012. In that time, she assumed the role of In-School Mentor. Louise was matched with two elementary school children during that time. She would meet with the child one-on-one for one hour cach ‘week, engaging the child in activities that would encourage the development of a friendship between Mentor and Mentee. Louise was excellent inthis role. She would play board/card games, ‘make crafts, draw, bake, converse, play computer games, and read with her mentees. She was creative, compassionate, and patient. Louise was excellent at accommodating her mentees, changing the activities to suit the age, personality, and interests. “The staff at the elementary schools where Louise volunteered echoed my sentiments that Louise ‘was not only a contributing member at their school, but a positive and reliable influence in the mentees’ lives. She respected the confidential nature of the work and fulfilled the commitments as outlined for her. Louise was a valuable contributor to our agency and I would gladly have her return as a volunteer now or in the future.
