IN THE SPACE BELOW, DESCRIBE THE ARTIFACT AND HOW IT RELATES TO
THE CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF THE EDUCATION PROGRAM:
The artifact is my philosophy of education. Throughout the philosophy all three areas of the
framework are addressed and how each area contributes to my attitudes toward teaching. The
philosophy agrees with the importance of diversity. I will embrace diversity in students, parents,
and the community and model good citizenship to students. Content knowledge, diversity, and
pedagogy relate to the philosophy in many ways. I will use theories to support learning in the
classroom. I will continue to learn and grow as an instructor to meet the needs of all learners.
IN THE SPACE BELOW, DESCRIBE AND EXPLAIN IN WHAT WAY(S) THIS
ARTIFACT RELATES TO THE COURSE OBJECTIVE(S) YOU ALIGNED IT WITH
AND HOW IT CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR GROWING COMPETENCE IN THE
EDUCATION PROGRAM:
In my philosophy, I have addressed my growth as a professional educator and how this will
apply to my future career. The philosophy addresses both individual differences and
environmental factors that influence students attitudes, behaviors, and learning success. The
philosophy is a plan to apply what I have learned about diversity, theory, and professional
development.
