Classes Observed:
PE Grade 5
General Comments:
Carmen has developed her teaching skills in a very successful manner during her professional semester. Her ability to develop
positive relationships with her students allows her to conduct meaningful learning activities and engage students in a productive
learning environment. She establishes an orderly environment that is conducive to learning as well as the safety of the students,
critical in an activity oriented setting.
Conference Held:
Carmen presented a lesson on the fundamentals of basketball skills. Nice job of modeling the activity for students and establishing
and enforcing classroom procedures and routines. Returning to home spots while transitioning to a new activity is a great strategy.
Recommend continued emphasis on safety in the PE classroom setting along with emphasis on routines and procedures.
