Introduction
This project will allow for students to grow through storytelling. They will
need to use their creative thinking skills and put into practice information
learned from previous lessons in English class. Through this project
students will be able to practice proper punctuation, complete sentences,
creative thinking, and speech. Students will have the chance to relate
personal experiences to their story. By presenting, each student will be
able to practice communication and respect for their classmates opinions.

Objectives
Preparing the
Student
To prepare students for this lesson, teachers will need to teach or review
the basic components of what makes a story. For example, characters, plot,
setting, etc. Students will also need to know how to develop a proper thesis
that creates a foundation of what they are going to go over in their story.
Teachers will also need to demonstrate how to speak clearly and with a
proper tempo into the microphone as the teacher is holding it, also keeping
volume in mind.

format from the beginning to end, and whether or not they created a
coherent story with the pictures given to them. Not only will the teacher be
evaluating all of this, their peers will also be grading them. This will show
the class and the teacher how well they displayed their recording to the
class. Not only is this a good formative assessment to see how they used
critical thinking to create a story out of completely useless objects, teachers
can decide what the students grade should be through that. Metacognition
will be applied because students will need to be able to defend why their
story is the way it is when questions arise from their peers. This is
definitely going to force the students to really think about the main motive
behind their story creating. This is an awesome way to help students really
think critically and on their feet because they will have to keep their
composure and create a coherent story based on a writing rubric. Not only
does this help with extra writing practice, you can also use this just as a fun
assignment because it could just be fun and no grades involved. Students
will not only be graded on their final product, they will also be graded on
how well they used the class time, how their story changed from the
beginning to when teachers gave out suggestions for revisions, and how
respectful students were when others were presenting.
