Also a big Page 2 BOX TOPS CONTESTII Send in your Box Tops. The classroom that collects the most will enjoy choco- late chip cookies and hot chocolate. NEW BUSINESS The PTO is currently looking into a bench or two for the playground, The catch is that we'd like it to be made out of recycled milk cartons. We are contacting a company in Mulliken to see if this is something that they still do. Tf so, we'll share information on how and when and where to turn in your plastic milk earning tomorrow! Target's Take Charge of Education Schoo! Fundraising. Every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card at a Target store or target.com, Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa and Target Guest Card purchases made at Target and target.com, and 1/2% of Target Visa pur- chases made elsewhere, to Beagle when you designate your school of choice, Beagle's ID number is 61807. The PTO is looking for people to chair or co-chair a few programs throughout the year. We need chairs for the following events/activities - Movie Day (1/25), Family Fun Night (2/20), Silent Auction (2/20), Original Artworks and Field Day (5/29). We are listed in Grand Ledge under Beagle School and ‘our number is 325986. Sign up today and start PRINCIPAL'S CORNER v Report cards went home last week and we have our conferences this week. Teachers will share NWEA Results in Reading and Math and also goals that have been set for ‘the next set of NWEA tests. NWEA tests have been conducted three times a year, v The MEAP will be in the spring this year. v Beagle is a Title I school-wide school this year, That doesn't mean more money for the school, but it does mean that more services can be provided for all students. v The student council painted the sidewalk out front and this week they are having a Food Drive. The food will be donated di- rectly to needy Beagle families,
