November Board Meeting

Business Items

Elections discussed changes from President Elect to VP and change that officers cant
continue in the same position
Take out Standing Committees
Add Ad hoc Committees
Add to FLTED Website Poll to vote on changes and will update constitution on website

II. Discussion

Announcement from Mary Little that FCEC is in October and Student CEC can do a
kaleidoscope session this year. Handed out Advisor and SCEC packets
Discussion about CEES (Coalition of Education of Exceptional Children) for the State of
FL and it was agreed that we would continue to support legislative changes. Kim Zgonc
will continue to sit on the board as a FTED representative. Passed around a donation cup
for our contribution. Sue Blanchard (Treasurer) will mail check to CEES treasurer.
Sue Blanchard and James McCleskey presented on proposed options for ESE
certification. FTED supports option 2 generalist with specialization
