6th October 2014

This week I created the questions which are to be asked for our student
questionnaire.
With a little help from my group on what questions to decide on we completed
it within the lesson. The questions relate specifically to our topic and are
written in a way of which the interviewee has to give a detailed answer, this
will give us a wider range of results.
For our questionnaire we only asked people of which were the age of our
target audience. This represents accurate results and shows that we have taken
into account the profile of our potential target audience.
When processing our results and interpreting them into graphs, I had a bit of a
struggle. This is where my group helped me to learn the skill of how to create
bar and pie charts in PowerPoint or Excel. This is a skill I have learnt due to
this project and will benefit me in the long term.
Also today me and my group member Tom created the questions of which were
for our focus group and then uploaded them to our blog.
For the rest of this week we hope to get all our interview planning complete. So
therefore we can go and film our expert and vox-pop interviews. We planned
the questions for both and contacted a few people of whom we thought would
be a good interviewee for our expert. Also asking our friends and people
around college if they would participate in our vox-pop as they are our
targeted audience and it will represent a more accurate picture of lead to
answer our topic question Are Mobile Phones a Necessity or a Luxury in
Modern Society?
