lunch room.

Diagonal cracks in the north face of the northeast
corner of the building. Room 37 is at the top,
room 27 below. This is an indication of
“settlement”, likely due to minor degradation of
the masonry materials below.

Cracks in the south wall of the Middle School.
This pattern indicates minor movements, likely
due to thermal changes, that are introducing
movement capability to the floor system.
Additional tensile stresses introduced into the
floor system can reduce the flexural capacity of
the floor, which is already marginal at 40.2 psf.
