Biomes Integrated Project

Dear Parents,
This is the outline and criteria for our Biome project for grade five.
The grade given for this project will be added as a part of their Michaelmas Term
grade.
Students are encouraged to research, then summarize and paraphrase (put
in their own words), before using the information in their project. To discourage
plagiarism, any student caught plagiarizing will be penalized.
At completion of this project, students should know general and specific
information about the Biome chosen. Please encourage your child to follow the
guidelines given. Likewise, encourage your child to start working on the project
early so that he or she can complete it on time. Please note that presentation of
information researched is of utmost importance.
The project MUST be presented in three parts:
1. Oral Presentation

2. Flyer

3. Visual Presentation = 20 points.
Ten (10) points will be deducted for any late projects AND twenty (20)
