Transportation Engineering

Transportation engineering is the

design of different ways of
transportation such as airports,
waterways, railroads, and rapid
transit ways in the most effective
way possible.

Immigration

Is the movement of people from

one country to other to which they
are not native.

Facts about TE and Immigration

Illegal immigration has been the

cause of lots of controversy in the US
and Mexico.

This is the reason why we decided to

use the robot to make immigration
more efficient and faster. This way
all the people that are escorted by
the robot would be legal and ready
to cross the border.

Also many weapons and drugs are

crossed through the border every
day. this is the reason why the robot
will scan the merchandise and people
before crossing in order to make sure
nothing illegal is put into it.

How are transportation engineering and

immigration related?

Transportation engineering is
directly related to immigration
because of the way the immigrants
travel. In this way the people are
using transportation engineering
ways.

PSA Project

Our PSA project would include a

way of transportation through the
frontier. Our robot will transport
people and merchandise from
Mexico to the US in a faster and
more efficient way.

The robot in action

This robot will represent a new

way for crossing the border. As you
can see it has hands in order to
carry boxes with merchandise and
since it is a robot it can scan the
boxes to make sure it is safe. It
will escort people from one side to
the other without making any stops
or without showing documents.

Results

We expect to make a clear relation

between our robot and how it
functions to how migration is
something that we should be
concerned about.

In order to avoid lines and illegal

immigrants from crossing the
border. This robot will make sure
the peoples documents are real
and it will scan the boxes of
merchandise before carrying them
to the other side.
