CAT 2014 Scores are restricted only for admission to IMs and nonIM member institutions. IMs have no role in the selection process of Non-IM Inston. A candidate can appear for CAT2014 only once during the 2-day testing window (4 sessions). INFORMATION SOURCES: CAT website: wwvuiimeat.ac.in (From 01-08-2014) IVRS Number : 1800-2100-151 CAT2014 ELIGIBILITY A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at east 60% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case ofthe candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ditereni Abled (DA) (Itray also be referred to as Persons With Disbilty (PWD) categories), awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational insttutions estabished by an act of Pariament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of india. The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate in the bachelor’ degree would be calculated based onthe practice followed by the universtyinsttuton from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case a candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the univers institution from where he/she has obtained the bachelors degree. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible GPA and muitiplyng the result wih 100. Candidates appeering forthe final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed fo join the programme provisionally, only it hefshe submits a certificate ltest by June 30, 2015 from the PrncipalRegistrar of hisier Collegtinsttute(ssued on or before June 30, 2015) stating thatthe cancidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degreelequivalent qualification on the date ofthe issue of the certificate.
