SED 464 Learning Goals and Outcomes
November 30, 2014
The learning goals and outcomes for my Project Based Learning are that the students
experience history through the lives of veterans that fought in those wars. The students will
connect the events of the soldier life to the information in the textbooks. They will understand
the reality of war. They will be able to question the veterans in an interview and take photos. The
students will have prepared question for the veterans. They will be able to ask how their
experiences were. They will ask about the experiences of fighting in combat, firing machinery,
being on the ships.
The students will learn a variety of things. They will learn about history. And they will
learn about writing an interview, posting it on their website, uploading images. The students will
be doing a lot of things during this project.
They will first learn about the events of World War II, during the World War II unit.
They will learn about the events that led the United States entering the war. During this time, th
teacher will have a day in the computer lab, to assist the students in signing up to a Weebly
account. Te teacher will take some time during the class to explain what is to be expected and to
be coming in the schedule. Once the students have learn the unit, sign on Weebly, they will be
prompt on how to interview and what questions would be appropriate. The teacher will allow for

some informal questions for the Veterans, like what is your favorite food? or what is your
favorite movie? just to have some familiarity for the students.
